You must understand that the bigger the sample size, your chances of winning this bet approach 0. So, your only chance is a small sample size where you get lucky.

For example:

Your chances of winning this bet over 40 games is approx: 1.2%
Over 50 games it is .52%
and over 500 games it is .0000000000000009%

So, sure I'll offer +300 over 40 games.

Using an escrow service (professional or a moderator/mutually agreed upon poster) or perhaps creating an x-bet on Matchbook would work. The downside of the x-bet is the commission and that you need a 3rd party to grade the bet.

I haven't read the entire thread yet, but as far as the rules in the OP, not all will apply to everyone but that's the beauty of gambling. Every bettor has their own way of going about things, whether you agree or disagree the fact that he took the time to write and share all of his habits should be appreciated.

You can track the bet in the baseball forum and make sure it's on the up and up. When he loses I'll have him send you the $300.
