This morning a lot of you guys are reading SBR front page or emails from Greek and BetJam about your accounts closing... Sad day for folks that enjoyed one of the originals in the business.

In terms of balances, it's pretty straight forward that Heritage has essentially "invited" US players from these books to bet there or to request their funds. Those that are able to play at Heritage, which is invite only, are pretty happy. Like BetJam, Heritage has high level of service and a good reputation since it came online in 2001.

Too true-- Look BJ did the best they could under the circumstances and could have easily screwed everyone or most everyone so hats off to them for taking the high road but hyping Heritage is self serving and the next few weeks will prove it. Some of us have been around the block and may even work in industries where we "bump up" next to some of the things we discuss in here. Heritage is okay at best and certainly, in the short term, is a great option that BJ afforded their clients.

You said why promote them when they are by invite only and then agree that invitation is easy to get, your logic escapes me. If I belong to an "exclusive" organization but can get people in I like then I reccommend it to them. Now that BJ is gone (and the revenue that went with it) Heritage is the new thing. Again, no problem with it, just be honest about it. No coincidence that the Sportsbook will be back on Monday and there's no coincidence that Heritage is being so openly touted is all that I'm saying. They are okay at best, that's all. I won't gone about this because anyone who can read between the lines can see the writing on the wall.

Yep --You roll the dice and take your chances. You just mentioned one of the overriding reasons NOT to post that you're going out of business. Even if only 10% winners that is still a chunk of change to take out of your coffers to payout somebody that you have NO CHANCE of recouping those payouts from. And yes, the same thing CAN happen here but, what's your point? SBR has no contractual obligation to redeem and they can modify their offers at any time. I see no problem with that. Everything has some level of risk. If Freebies are your thing then clip 2 for 1 coupons and sell your Freebie. BJ made a BUSINESS DECSION based on external pressures and tried to offer a solution. Don't like the solution? Go somewhere else but, it's going to happen to you there too eventually. Really, whinning about a FREE PLAYS lol? You're lucky you got your money.

Of course betting offshore is a risk/reward type of situation. But having a casual "I am missing hundreds of dollars that was available to me yesterday, but oh well, at least they didn't steal all my money" attitude seems kind of ridiculous. It is not like I said I was going to go postal over it, just mentioned that I was angry about it, which seems like a pretty normal reaction.

They also have a free deposit program (free 5th or 6th deposit), often replace original deposits, and give everyone a 100% or 50% annual bonus (limit 1K) just for playing in their March Madness contest.

They have open teasers with an unlimited time window, which is unique in my experience.

But don't have them as your only book. You can beat them, but don't beat the daylight out of them if you want the relationship to last. (as you probably know, most players here beat the daylight out of their books, so Heritage is below their level of expertise... )

Really is been with them for so long and with the exception of having to press my ear hard to the phone on many occasions to make out what there CS girls were saying through their Jamaican accents playing there was a pleasure for me.
