Go back and watch the Knicks of the mid-90's or the Pistons, Bulls, Celtics in the 80's and 90's...these types of plays were expected and quite common, hell Jordan was even punching his own teammates. Everyone is so soft now days and they're so quick to overreact to everything. It's playoff basketball and it's physical and highly emotional.

Sure Bynum was out of place and it was cheap, but he was tired of seeing their guards run right down the lane all night and was fed up so he gave JJ a parting gift. He'll take a fine and a 5gm suspension and move on...it's not like he choke slammed him in the middle of the court and hit him with an elbow drop to finish him off.
