Can be detected with blood test, which MLB does not do.

o.k....but lots of lean guys have been on the juice in a number of sports. I would think not all juice makes you huge (i.e. cyclists) and baseball has a very specific testing program that targets certain things. I just don't believe someone can go from a number in the teens to 54 in a year unless there's some voodoo going on.

Depends on what kind of steroids you take, there are different anabolic/androgenic ratios.
Uggla is huge, either he has a killer workout regimen and diet or hes been juicing as well.
He could be a bodybuilder if he lost some body fat, and all bodybuilders are on juice.

hey, brady anderson never hit for power and then all of a sudden he hit 50, and he didnt use..... oh wait he totally did. sucks that there are some players out there who dont use but still get the suspicion. jim thome was the only guy in the top 7 from 1995-2003 in hrs that was clean. yikes. we need more thomes. big farmboys who naturally hit the ball a mile.

Uggla does have some monster arms. But Bautista doesn't really look all that big. He is kind of a wiry dude. I don't where he is generating all that power.

If baseball was not the American mans favorite pastime it would not even exist it is the worse sport on the market when it comes to having values, but that's America.

Ya way worse than football where they have used roids for years, if somebody gets caught with roid no one cares and they are finding out that its causing major head trauma but no one wants to change it. Don't get me wrong, I love football but I find it a little ridiculous to single out baseball. I could find issues with every major sport.

The man is huge. But I don't believe he is on steriods. I think the mlb has really started to sniff this stuff out pretty well

I agree, Bautista's power came out of nowhere but there is absolutely no increase in his size over the course of his career.
The thing is in the debate of is it swing/timing vs. steroids, it could just be both. He could have been on steroids back in PIT, and now, while still on steroids, has also worked on his swing. Would explain the increase in numbers as well as the lack of a noticeable size growth.
But I think people think steroids automatically make you huge. That simply isn't the case. This guy was on steroids:
But this is all moot. I think the main point is who gives a fukk if Bautista is on steroids or not. Everyone is. Doesn't make them 50+ HR threats. Even if you hate the idea of PEDs in MLB, you have to tip your cap to guys who outpace other guys the way Bautista did and currently is.
You fukks need to get over your pussy attitude about PEDs in baseball. It's fukking embarrassing. I know, it sucks you cheered for a bunch of guys over the past few decades who were cheaters, and I'm sure it made you feel like a fool for believing they were legit, but get over it already, princess.

Yeah... really doubt it was Bautistas swing... guy goes from avging 4% HRs for 2006-2009 and then in 2010 goes for 9.4% HRs
Give me that good stuff cause I just started deadlifting again u fuks!
But seriously, everyone should hire Bautista's swing coach the guy is a fukin genius with a needle
EDIT: Uggla is actually a guy I *could* believe...his HR ratio and slugging % are basically identical every year since 2006. So if he broke into the majors already juicing and survived all this other stuff still juicing, the kid is a fawking genius too
That being said, he could break ur chicken neck with his arms

You cant assume juicing will make you hit more HR's
