In my humble opinion both parties are at fault - cory has been caught making untrue statements and has been banned by at least 1 online casino (northbet) in the past (ez says 21 other sportsbooks/casinos).

And easystreet confiscated $46,000 of money before turning it over to a related party with a huge conflict of interest (rx) for mediation.

There have been a lot of good points made for both sides, I think most of us can agree that Cory probably was a shot taker using bot software that has done the same thing numerous times in the past. So if that is true, should Cory be paid?

This is a huge problem for online gambling. Back in the old days of pre-internet you couldn't pull crap like that. You will meet your bookie or go to the casino with cash play and if you win you get paid cash. Now with the anonymity of the internet a crook can create multiple fraudulent accounts and try to take advantage of the system before he gets caught and have his fraudulent winnings confiscated.

If the site finds a reason to strip and not pay the prize, and the forums accept it....what would happen the next time a site doesnt/cant/wont pay? Come up with a semi-plausible reason/scenario and come up with solution that requires the winner to go to a foreign country.

The site took his money...if there was no ********** and the code of the casino software was not tampered with; he should get paid. Am I correct in saying that even with perfect play that the house holds the edge. If it does..short term blips should be paid....the house always gets it back if they can survive the short term.

Exactly,if one less than stellar book does it,the rest will follow suit including writing rules in the sportsbook end to cover their ass down the road.Bad part is RX has and always will cover for these BS books,wrong arb in this case.

it's most certainly unfair of a casino to NOT PAY someone who counted cards at blackjack, but it's not unfair to ban someone who is going to steal from you on a continual basis.

what I am saying is that its the casnios fault that they offer the big bonuses and keep the odds reasonable....they complain when someone gets lucky short term and have no right to.

I am really surprised that the software didnt do something fishy after the same player hit the 2nd royal. I believe that most casino software would have some sort of safety feature to bring the short term back in. A safety valve...a cheat in the code.

I dont think the casinos should cheat but it surprises me that the software did not stop this. I think most software is rigged to a certain point.

Bad precedent being set here. Book used fine print of "no bots" to confiscate money without complete proof. I can see how bad books will start using "no professional/syndicate play" clauses to do the same with sports wagering profits.

Whatever cory has done in the past has absolutely nothing to do with Easystreets. A book requiring a player to take a polygraph to get paid is asinine.
