Be happy for your wife, at least she's found something that makes her happy.

You should feel good about setting the table for her new found happiness by being awful in bed and a crappy husband.

Now it's your turn to be happy ... you gonna turn $1500 into $3500 playing craps/sportsbook in Reno. Winning!

                To the thread creator.

If you are indeed serious here I somewhat feel for you. But at the same time you never make financial decisions immediately after a "life event" and gambling your last few hundred dollars and moving without a job is the worst idea. I suggest you find work maybe move in with a friend or family member temporarily until you are thinking sanely again. Going to Vegas with your last $1200 is not a solution to your problem. If you want to become a degenerate gambler I would move in with somebody where you are living now and build a bankroll and contact employers over the phone and let them know you are moving to vegas. Once you have secured employment than you can leave and become a degenerate but until then I would stay put. Best of luck but you need to step back and think sanely again.

Page Last Updated: Friday March 4, 2011 12:05pm PST
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Authorities are calling the death of a 25-year-old man who jumped after nearly two hours on a ledge at a Las Vegas Strip high-rise a suicide.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas security officers summoned Las Vegas police a little before 4:45 a.m. Friday to a report of a man threatening to jump from a ledge on the 51-story tower.

Officials say the man jumped a little before 6:30 a.m.

He was pronounced dead at University Medical Center. His name wasn't immediately made public.

Traffic was closed briefly on Harmon Avenue from Interstate 15 to Las Vegas Boulevard after the man jumped.

With only about a grand to your name going to Reno or any place to gamble is just gonna make things worse. Use that money to get an apartment, get whatever job you can. You don't want to be betting with everything you own.

Not gonna happen. There is no sure way to win money, that's why it is called gambling! Try working at a casino, definitely get on unemployment, and see if you can swing with the casino, or any job where they will pay for your residence.

Might as well work in a mcdonald's. That 50 a day (or more!) is guaranteed.

And in the highly unlikely scenario where a life long loser can eke out $50 a day ... what the f is going to do with his life, eat blue plate specials at Ballys? Watch endless hours of tv? Whine like a bitch on SB - ... oh, I think I learned something today.
