You should feel good about setting the table for her new found happiness by being awful in bed and a crappy husband.
Now it's your turn to be happy ... you gonna turn $1500 into $3500 playing craps/sportsbook in Reno. Winning!Comment -

#217To the thread creator.
If you are indeed serious here I somewhat feel for you. But at the same time you never make financial decisions immediately after a "life event" and gambling your last few hundred dollars and moving without a job is the worst idea. I suggest you find work maybe move in with a friend or family member temporarily until you are thinking sanely again. Going to Vegas with your last $1200 is not a solution to your problem. If you want to become a degenerate gambler I would move in with somebody where you are living now and build a bankroll and contact employers over the phone and let them know you are moving to vegas. Once you have secured employment than you can leave and become a degenerate but until then I would stay put. Best of luck but you need to step back and think sanely again.Comment -

#220Get a job
if u are going to gamble, try playing any game that is close to 50-50, start with betting $2, if u lose, bet $4, then $8, $16, $32, etc(you covering your losses plus adding $2, for every bet)...with 50-50 chance game, you are going to win one of your bets...As soon as u do, go right back to $2 bets again, and start over......you can actually make pretty decent for 8hrs of gambling...JUST DONT GET CUTE AND START BETTING BIG CHUNKS, STAY DISCIPLINED...bol
Do not do that.... You will be broke in a couple of days.GET A JOB, GL

#222With only about a grand to your name going to Reno or any place to gamble is just gonna make things worse. Use that money to get an apartment, get whatever job you can. You don't want to be betting with everything you own.Comment -

#227Not gonna happen. There is no sure way to win money, that's why it is called gambling! Try working at a casino, definitely get on unemployment, and see if you can swing with the casino, or any job where they will pay for your residence.Comment -

#230Might as well work in a mcdonald's. That 50 a day (or more!) is guaranteed.
And in the highly unlikely scenario where a life long loser can eke out $50 a day ... what the f is going to do with his life, eat blue plate specials at Ballys? Watch endless hours of tv? Whine like a bitch on SB - ... oh, I think I learned something today.Comment
