I really don't see that much of a difference outside of the price increases which aren't that bad, but then again I'm a pro. Bought several things in the SBR store already. I'm all for more contests.

Yes but the Championship series like we just played is over. We have a new format starting Monday. There will be two 80 man tourneys a day with the final 10 players getting paid(so 20 players a day getting paid). And a big tourney open to everyone on Saturday. The details should be posted soon.

The more pro's from here the more paying customers the books generate via advertising here, the more SBR gets for advertising, not just from current sponsor books, but future ones -- more money to SBR's bottom line the more more they can invest in the system.

has to be $200 NEW cash not generated by a SBR Promo/free plays, contest money..etc..

I think that non-pros should still be able to purchase charity donations in the store.

I am in favour of anything to discourage freeloading, ghosting and point scamming but don't see any connection between those and charity donations.

well it ended my thread...not going to worry about them any more...the other day I had around ten people give points in my thread...got maybe 18 points...normally it would have been around 50-60...

Also several non pros would like to give their points away to members that contribute in different ways...knowing they will not open an online account... the worst rule change was making them wait 24 hours...at least let them have access to their points when its a new day right away...but whatever your the boss and it is still a good forum...

First of all the points system has been too good to be true and I for one truly appreciate it. It was heavy factor in uprooting me from EOG and calling SBR my home base. The contest make it fun as hell too.

Just a few days ago I got two pizzas delivered to my house. They were freakin awesome from Poppa Johns. I have also bought several free plays and turned them into a couple bucks @ BetPhx and ...I guess thats it.

Its a shame the rules had to be applied partly due to those abusing the system. I figure if you are not an SBR Pro odds are you are 75% ghost leaving that 25% window for the guys who just aint got the money, need or desire to become a pro.

I did not deposit 200 bucks myself. I deposited 50 bucks @ 5Dimes and went on a lucky run over 200 bucks..applied for Pro and dropped it all in the next 3-4 days.

Its also a shame it seems certain sponsor books leave the free play category after it gets abused. Then the poor average chump comes along and cant buy himself a WagerChief or BetPx freebie

Guess its every man for himself

I do wish to see a contest where the money payouts are not diluted by the points ghost like the moneyball contest

Id like to see a figure in the first 7-8 weeks of that contest how many of the $1,000 winners got the actual loot from having made a deposit, or the 250 points.

Well since im not pro , i think it sucks that you can only xfer 2 pts a day, but, i'll be going pro soon anyways, so im not complaining. the people whining that wont go pro are jokerz.

Perhaps if sbr can get a semi pro system up. Like 4 different levels of pros

so what if you have 200 after you complete your rollover?

i guess you would have to withdrawal the 200+ dollars then put it back in the book to qualify for sbr pro. weird.
