UNC +10 at Duke

I think Duke wins but UNC covers and I wouldn't be completely stunned if UNC won outright.

Duke fan here myself. For some reason UNC is always able to get up for these games, even if they're having a rough patch (last season aside). I would love it if Duke covered this, but I feel like the value is with UNC.

If you're going to put aside last year, in what respect did UNC have a rough patch? Last year is the only 'rough patch' they've had under Roy Williams and they most certainly did not get up for Duke that year.

I know we played the criminoles in Chapel Thrill, and Dook played then in Tallahassee, but we blew them out and dook lost to them. Dook is the better team, yes, but no matter how $hitty or good one team is, this game usually comes down to the wire. Should be a great game tonight!!!!!!!

For what its worth Duke -10 and Wisconsin -6.5 are my favorite bets of the day. The only reason its not Duke -13+ is that it is a rivalry and North Carolina. Good luck anyway though.

UNC is really coming on- grabbing a lot of boards and making their shots now.

barnes is still not living up to the hype (nobody could) but on the court now hes at least showing us a glimpse of how his "legend" was so exaggerated. and henson is the x-factor.

if the good plumlee gets in trouble, duke might be in for a saint johns-like pounding in the paint. can never count duke out though- they can shoot their way back into any game and nolan is really playing with a lot of effort. it should be a really good game.

As far as matchups, I'd take Tyler Zeller and John Henson over the Plumlees any day. But Kendall Marshal, while considerably better than Larry Drew, is still unproven as is Harrison Barnes. They will have a hard time competing against Duke's formidable back court of Nolan Smith, Kyle Singler, and whichever of Seth Curry or Andre Dawkins is hot from 3 that night.

They had those same shooters against FSU and St. John's...

Look, Duke is a very good team...and they are very tough at home...but these games with UNC are usually very competitive.
