Can't trust Michigan State.

They've been pretty bad this season, but the betting market still treats them as an elite team.

They shouldn't even be ranked.

Couldn't agree more. I don't know how you can have lost 5 games so far and still be ranked in the top 25. At the same time, I can see them beating Wisconsin tonight. Michigan State is a tough place to play at.

They should've been dropped from the rankings weeks ago.

But I guess the media's opinion is "Michigan State is always good, and they have a lot of the same talent as last year's team, so we can't drop them from the top 25."

I don't even know if they should be top 50, the way they've played, if you just look at it from the results this season, as opposed to ranking based on name, or coach, or past history.

Them still being in the top 25 is a bit much. The refrain is always "they'll kick it into gear later", but how many bad performances from them before we start to temper our expectations?

Their best win would I guess be barely beating Washington.

Meanwhile, Chaminade hung with them, UConn beat them, Syracuse blew them out, Penn State beat them, Texas beat them by 12 in East Lansing...

My point is that while they should beat Wisconsin last night, they should've won almost all the games they lost, but they didn't. Most underachieving team in college basketball, and I don't trust them nearly enough to put any decent streak on them.

They've already burned me twice on SftC.

This broke a W4 (the loss to Syracuse, as a 4.5 or 5 point fave, I think).

This broke a W7 (the loss to UConn, as a 6.5 point fave, I think).

Auburn is projected for only 18 FGs and they're 24 point underdogs, but pass.

Texas is only -7 and they're -9.5 on SftC, but pass.

Michigan State is favored but they suck, so definitely pass.

BC total is 4.5 points off. Possible.

Tennessee is -3.5, but I doubt it.

NHL: wash is like -120 and nashville like -125

NBA: Knicks 4 point underdogs in Portland. Possible.

if it were another game I would've taken the favorite.

Here, I bet the underdog and stayed off it on SftC.

Kentucky margin should beat Auburn FG but I don't like taking that kind of prop with a decent streak.

May take BC over or Portland.

Something very strange with Wisconsin/Michigan State on SftC;

Wisconsin is ranked higher and has a better record, but over 80% picked Michigan State!

Very unusual.

I'm convinced I had the right bet in the Michigan State game, but then this happened. Can't handicap for that.

I still won with spread, but lost with ML and the leaderboard was all over that pick.

the grading early fiasco rears its head again, this time with the Pitt game. Graded at halftime. I remember this has happened in the past, but I haven't seen it recently.

The player prop didn't compare to the other two 9 PM picks, so it came down to FSU + free throws made vs. Iowa State +14.5.

Tough choice. I went with FSU, although I don't know how to compare.

FSU was +7 and Iowa State +9.5.

I felt AOR and FSU were better picks than Syracuse, and I didn't want to get locked out.

I might've taken UC Davis +14.5 late, but I was saved from the decision when the Duke game ran long, thanks to FSU winning outright.

FSU=giant killers

The AOR unlocked in time, so you could've gone Syracuse-AOR-AOR for three pretty good picks.

I got stuck with one.
