had lech..made no sense to me why they were favoured...braga at -1 was juiced for the match, but lech favoured to advance? was whacked...one of the goals lech gave up was really silly...horrid clearance turned into a goal, which turned out to be doom

They usually have a few MMA Picks when they have events. It's not bad.

Assuming your winning % holds up, do you want to play next month? Just want to know ahead of time, so I can pay you 600 and hold onto 20 for you.

I haven't seen one mma pick all month for Jan or Feb, but those are the only two months Ive ever done Streak for the Cash. I know they missed some high profile events but hopefully they keep doing it for every UFC/strikeforce event at least.

Probably the easiest is to just exclude them. Or at your discretion allow non-pros to borrow the 20 point entry fee and pay you 24? Maybe allow non-pros to enter, but they have to be paid in full by the 1st of each month.

I made a post a few days ago to let non-pros to start paying. I don't mind non-pros to start paying like around the first. If they stop paying daily then the points just get added to the pot?

The only thing about allowing them to start paying at the beginning of the month, then they can basically freeroll for a week or so. They probably shouldn't be officially in until they have paid in full. And since we have a rule about not having a streak over 3 before entering then it limits the time frame.

Maybe non-pros should have to make an initial security deposit of 20 and then start paying the entry fee around the first each month. Then as long as they pay in full each month, the deposit will serve as the collateral going forward. If one decides to stop paying or fails to finish paying during a month, then the security deposit goes to the pool and the incomplete points paid you get to keep.

I still think you should at least charge non-pros 2 or 4 points interest to cover transaction fees and the hassle of keeping up with all of it.

Let non-pros put in as much as they like before the 10th of the month, and pay them 10% of the prize for every 2 points they put in.

Jackpot the remainder to next month if a non pro with the less than 20 in the pool wins.

Regarding non-pros, I don't think it's a huge deal.

The risk is they stop paying if they don't have a good streak?

Set a deadline by the 10th of the month for non-pros to finish payment (recommended they start paying the previous month) and if someone has not sent the full payment by the 10th, whatever they sent is added to the points pool (or kept by Mex) and they are disqualified from future pools.

I would think that'd be enough of a deterrent.

Or we can use Optional's idea; that each 2 points earns the chance to win 10% of the final prize.

However, instead of rolling over the pot, we could treat it like poker, when someone calls but doesn't have enough chips to cover the bet.

I am trying to send Mex my 2nd installment of 2 units, but it does not seem to be letting me. I do not follow this stuff that closely, but did I miss something where the powers that be have decided to not let non-pros send any units since yesterday? Also, how does one become a pro? Thank you.

There is a link under your avatar that explains how to become pro.

Clicking the link under that that says "SBR Points" shows you have not received your points for posting today. Which suggests something has gone wrong with your account.

I'd either contact SBR or just wait until tomorrow and see if it works then.

I think they throttle it at 2 every 24 hours. So if you sent at 11 PM, for example, you'd have to wait until it's 11 PM again.
