From what I've read, one of the best farm systems in the game. I'm hoping they can start to compete sooner, rather than later. As a whole, I like the Greinke trade a lot.

just don't think they have the pitching this year and most likely next year to compete but I think their loaded system should be something beyond that

Agree completely with you on that. Killing time for the next year or two, until all the prospects mature.

I'm more hooked on the Brewers being a decent team than Greinke neccessarily gelling right away and being DOMINANT so I will have to look into the win bet a little more. Either way ... I respect your opinions and looking forward to a season breakdown or preview if you are going to have one later in the winter
Nope, i haven't checked on any futures lines yet for baseball so idk. I doubt there is even a line anywhere on Greinke's wins compared to divisional opponents at a book, unless it is a book with all kinds of props and stuff. I was just going off of my own analysis and what i think will happen at this point. The season is still a ways off and things could change. I will do a quick look at the books i like today and see if i can find something on the futures odds. I do agree with you that the central will be more competitive and that the Brewers will be better in 2011.

*I found this on vegasinsider, it's about all i could find.
Odds to win 2011 NL Pennant: I'll just list the NL central teams:

          St. Louis 8/1
          Cincy 10/1
          Cubs 25/1
          Houston 40/1
          Brewers 50/1
          Pirates 250/1

I looked around at different books, i couldn't find anything on odds to win division anywhere that i trust yet. I didn't see divisional odds on sports sites yet either like vegasinsider or donbest. There were a couple of books that had odds to win the World Series listed but that was all i could find besides the pennant odds i previously listed. So i guess these pennant odds are the closest we have to divisional odds for right now until more books release more MLB futures odds.

The brews will still be in the rear with the butt-pirates lol. Ryan Braun is a beast and so is Zach. But Pujols and waino or Carp is crushing them fools. Cards all day!!
