This is not correct.
I'm not with WagerWeb now, but they were very good when they were CasaBlanca Sports.
Paid fast, were fair, and very generous. (Twice I corrected them or bitched about a service, and twice they deposited money into my account by way of thanks or apology.)
Then they got cute, changed their name to CBS, and that of course drew the ire of the CBS. The CBS that has a contract with NFL, NCAA, etc.
So the US CBS sued, and the CR CBS fought back. And lost (as I understand it). And must have had to pay a bundle, because after they put their tail between their legs and became WagerWeb they began to cut the bennies. Recently they got cute with the withdrawal fee, claiming a Free Bet for the $60 WD charge means a "free withdrawal." Uh ... no!
I don't play with them now, but a few friends do. (Phone in bettors) If the SBR rating ever drops to D I;ll warn them to scram.Comment -

I know BETUS.com is not one of your sponsors,but what kills me is they have money to make dvds with supermodels posing for calendar shoots,they even sent me the dvd they made.They still send me schedule books,magazines,casino dvds.I just can't get them to send me the $1,736 tIf anybodyhey owe me.I went on their little forum that they sponsor Predictem.com or something like that (boy did it suck) anyways I left a post about 8 paragraphs long and ripped em apart.Do you guys know anything I can do?They have owed me that money since the final four last year.If anybody has any suggestions I sure would appreciate it.Comment -

WagerWeb is the worst sportsbook on the planet - why would anyone play with a SBR "C" or below rated sportsbook?
The reality is anyone with any kind of common sense wouldn't........
I promised the President of WagerWeb that I would cause him to lose business due to the fact they accepted my wagers and when I asked to get paid they refused..........by SBR dropping this horrible sportsbook to a "C" rating - they have lost business. Moreover, they will continue to lose business due to this rating.
Whether you agree or not, doesn't matter - this is the fact. Call SBR if you don't believe me and ask them.
I hope WagerWeb enjoys all of this negative publicity, because it isn't going to stop.
Keep in mind, a few months ago, this same half-ass sportsbook, let 5 kids beat them out of $500,000, then refused to pay them.
Stick with an "A" or "B" SBR rated book - of course unless you are ROBMPINK, the fool who works for Wagerweb and won't admit it - pathetic.Comment -

They're not the worst book in the world by any stretch of the imagination. Your only beef with them is that you tried to scam them (like you scammed BetOnSports) and started crying foul when you got caught. From the threads here at SBR, the majority of people think you're a scammer. For anyone out there looking for a sportsbook to play with, I want to let everyone to be aware that WagerWeb stole $42,000 from me.
Also, SBR dropped WagerWeb's rating from a "B-" sportsbook down two grades to a "C."
Highly recommend that you do not do business with this terribly managed sportsbook.
I know this is a big weekend for betting with the Final Four - hope this helps someone out there looking for a sportsbook to play with - go with an SBR rated "A" sportsbook - do yourself a huge favor !! Good luck!Comment -

You can search on WagerWeb and get all the details - the purpose of this message is to ensure that nobody wastes their time and money with a sportsbook like WagerWeb.
I am not saying anything different than SBR - they clearly state that they recommend SBR "A" or "B" rated sportsbooks - they would never recommend a "C" rated or below book.
I am just someone who has had an awful experience with this horrible sportsbook - hopefully, my message will be read by others and they will remember to keep away from Wagerweb.Comment -
CHEATING??? If calling a sportsbook, speaking to a live clerk, making a play, getting a confirmation number and hanging up the phone is cheating - then okay, I guess you are right........

Always tempting to oversimplify complex matters. There already is a long thread about this. The problem is that the book took the action, and may have done so, or may have continued to do so, knowing that it would never pay out on those bets.
The player exploited a loophole. But he didn't create it. It was left open by the book. How dumb can a book be?! He didn't use illegal means to get into the building and blow up a safe. He simply placed phone calls.
Shouldn't a book have to take responsibility for its own security? A classier book would not only have paid out, but would have added a thank-you note for pointing out such an gaping hole in their security.
The book used software as an excuse to not pay the player. Software... lol. If you question the player's character, at least extend the courtesy to WW.
How hard is it really to keep track of game times? I don't believe for one moment that it wasn't a business decision to leave the betting window open longer.
Anyway, enough of this. The player knew the risk and it was just a matter of time before he ran into a copy of himself. There is no way that he can claim the moral high ground. WW was downgraded. We don't need to be reminded anymore. No, it was $42,000 - I went back and looked at all the plays and my deposits - it doesn't matter! The bottom line is I hope others never play at this pathetic sportsbook.
