The second ticket is being reviewed by Nevada Gaming Commission because some of numbers on ticket cannot be read
They do have video surveillance to look at which means I will get paid, they have 24hrs to render decision or players gets paid. I say they pull up time stamp of ticket vs video cameras and it is all good.

Gaming has 30 days to review before rendering any decision. There is no such thing as a 24 hr window to review.

i live in vegas and just came across your post and i never heard anyone having trouble making bets for that amount. by law anything over $9,999 has to be documented and noted along notifying the FBI. but they will take your bet 99.9% of the time. and you should know you cant call sportsbooks in vegas...in person or nothing in vegas. your not even allowed to use your cell phone in most books.

as far as your numbers on your ticket...did they run it through there computer and it wasnt readable by the computer?
or did they not run it and manually enter the code?

They ran ticket through machine and it did not read it

Then they manually typed it in and a few numbers were unreadable and have no clue why

bad info. threshold for ctr reporting is $10000.01. they do not notify fbi. paperwork gets sent to fin-cen withing 15 days. per gaming law, you can use cell phones in all sportsbooks now. they will just ask you to hang up when at window.

This seems very unusual. Tickets are unreadable all the time. I washed a stack of pending tickets once, recovered them all. There are other ways of verifying. Especially since they were on a players card. How many $8000 tickets on the Bears did Flamingo write that weekend? Answer is not many. Contrary to whats been written here, betting big sums in Vegas is actually fairly difficult these days. The book managers are actually babysitters, trying to get away with as little risk and as little work as possible, with the exception of Hilton and M.

It sounds to me like your ticket has been locked. Which I have had happen a few times, usually when I'm in trouble. Once when they thought the ticket was stolen. Maybe there is an issue with your runner/proxy? They are tyelling you 24 hours which sounds like they are waiting for a supervisor to take a look. Not gaming. NGC takes up to 90 days.
