It's not really pretty
As I said earlier, I get going post week 4 as I am better able to analyze each team. My thread started after that point too. In that contest I had like a what 2-8 start in the 1st few weeks, as I was basing everything on the previous year (so betting teams like MIN and DAL). That really ruined my record for the year. Nonetheless, thats why I don't bet ATS so much.
Besides in that contest, we are FORCED to make 5picks/week, and that just ruins records period. So it's not really a good indicator of skill. Also, I make my picks early in the week (eagerness), and many times I wanted to change my mind, and am unable to.
With all of that said, now that I have good grip on the NFL season, I have been 15-5 (75%) the past 4 weeks or so burying my opponent. And I honestly don't think I will have another under .500 week, though you never know, I might only like 3 bets in the week and have to toss coins for the other 2.
But once again, on ATS, I LOCK games. That's my specialty. Not picking many ATS winners per week. Though I can do that too now that I got such a good grip on each NFL team and can analyze everything so well.Comment -
