Yes. I have been complaining for a while now how U.S players are at a disadvantage on the live betting aspect of sports wagering. JJ you have the pull. Make it happen.

The books in CR do not have the money to finance live betting software. Not only they have to invest in the software but they have to hire many more employees to monitor each game meaning leasing more office space, buying more computers, TV's and satellite dishes to have the games broadcast live. It's a huge investment for the small CR books. You don't want to throw minnows to the sharks.

although I think much of it is automated now in the UK

No way you can have guys working 30 live events at one time on busy soccer days

A book that cancels live betting is a book that there no one managing the lines or monitoring the games.....

I said the CR books are small and can't invest in the software the Euro books have for automated live betting. They don't have the financial backing and the regulation the Euro books have.

The alternative is to have people monitoring the games all the time but the juice has to pay for the expenses. Unless a CR book invests 50-100 million dollars in live betting technology you will not see extensive live betting in the Mickey Mouse run CR books.

I really think that the first U.S friendly book who sets up a format like Bet365 will be very successful and let's face it the books will profit from this long term and not the players. Perhaps sbr could get one of the sbr affiliated books to get started on a project like this. JJgold I understand has been doing some work over in the U.K sportsbooks markets. Well we all know the major difference is they are way ahead when it comes to the live betting option. I know that our books have the live betting, but we wan't a book with live betting option for most events. Like Bet365 I have been trying to figure out a way to open a Bet365 account for myself but it would be more trouble than it's worth and I don't need the hassle. I wan't live betting on most all sporting events.

JJ there are no US based books. There is CR, Panama and some other small third world countries. Without a massive capital investment these Mickey Mouse books can't offer live betting and make a profit. It's not as easy as you think.
