Alright - as of 1:30 today we had 1,631 points collected, representing just over a $240 total donation. I want to start collecting names for where you want to donate this money to. As I said before, I am going to do a weighted average vote. For now - please just PM me with any charity you want me to look into. As long as it truly is a charity and I can get SBR to allow me to use points to make a donation then we will add it to the list. So for now - if you have given any points - please send me the name of the charity you would like to see on the list. We still have a long ways to go - but want to start building a database so I have time to do some research on them!

At the end of this week we will likely make a donation (in time for Thanksgiving) - and then re-start the collection for a Christmas donation.

It looks like the Salvation Army will be the beneficiary of this donation, as that was the place most requested (and I think its the only place that was requested unless I missed some!!) If you have a serious qualm please PM me with your beef with Salvation Army and we can see if there is enough interest in changing it.
