Yes. Velasquez offers tremendous value. I'm shocked the late money is all on Lesnar--but it's got to be public money. Lesnar hasn't fought anyone near Velasquez since getting out of the hospital, and Velasquez looks like he can be coached and there are wholes in Lesnar's game. I know this is just before post time, but this is a live dog.

The big oaf continues to prove time and time again he can't handle men his own size. He is only skilled in ground and pound and if that fails he is up the creek without a paddle.
Carwin exposed him big time and Velasquez just finished him off.

Wow, he bloodied Brock in a hurry. First takedown made me think Brock was going to cinch it up but Cain didn't panic and waited and put enough in each punch to flatten the big guy. Cain had pleanty in the tank and was not punched out like last Brock fight.

damn, i wish read this before the fight. to me mma is one of the hardest sports to bet because there are too many disciplines that are involved. Like lesnar has great wrestling but he cant box for crap and he got totally exposed tonight

No way in hell I thought he would win that easily. I thought they would cancel each other out for a while, which did happen...until Brock started getting pounded on.

What was the angle for favoring Lesnar so much? That he would get early take-down and finish early or something? No way Brock goes beyond 2. Totally out-skilled, out-conditioned, out-disciplined, out-experienced.
I mean this was almost a fukin replay of Carwin fight. Brock gets fukin slammed from get go, fukin stumbling around completely disoriented, you're sitting there thinking he's got no shot. Only Cain took better shots and was in better shape to begin with, whereas Carwin just punched and punched and gased himself, let Brock survive, then got taken out in one swoop.
I'm a vanilla MMA fan, so pros, explain to me why Brock was so heavily faovored, cause it seems like this was a little too foreseeable.

here is something i wrote a while ago which I think was spun into "brock being able to take a beating," when in reality carwin was barely in any condition to give a beating a few mins into the fight.
in response to someone who bet on carwin over lesnar i wrote
"then you were on the right side, right side doesnt always win tho. And the only reason carwin could not ko brock in round 1 was because he was gassing rapidly and had an adrenaline dump. If those things did not happen brock would have got his head smashed in for another round. Anything that happened in round 2 is irrelevant for capping any of brock's future matchups. After gassing in round 1, carwin was clearly useless in round 2, his attempt to stuff the TD was clearly evident of that."
another huge misconception was that brock would just be able to hold cain down. Cain is a Div1 wrestler, he knows what it is like to have a 260+ powerhouse on top of you.

I'm with you, but some people took the last fight as evidence in the opposite direction: If Brock could take Carwin's best shots, then he must be almost impossible to put away. lol

ya that too, both theories i thought were flawed because carwins power was rapidly depleting and even when carwin had brock in the worse positions, he was struggling to connect. Whereas tonight we saw cain make every shot count.

Lesner faded quick. His stamina was not very good tonight. He came out like a bat out of hell to start though

Nuthuggers. Its the same reason Frankie was a big dog twice to bj, when all non biased fans could clearly see frankie won the first time.

you either fall for the hype or you see through it.
simple as that.
I had a serious chuckle from witnessing the masses pound Brock after the weigh-ins.

he def does not have a glass jaw. Rewatching the fight I think cain broke one of brocks ear drums or something with the side of head punches when he was riding him. Cain walked right through lesnar tonight, very impressive.

Well he must have a little brain that gets rattled around in his head easily cause every time somebody puts those hands on his ass, he starts to wobble. Accomplished wrestler but his fight game is shit. If you touch his head decent he is a goner.
