Anyone ever had acid reflux before

My doctor gave me something that works better than Nexium. It's Dexilant. You need a prescription and it's a little expensive, but worth it. It actually will repair the lining of your esophagus over time. I have GERD like Urban Meyer has it was brutal chest pain and I don't really have it anymore.

For the money we all blow gambling, go get a prescription.

I have to take one of the lil purple pills if I mess with orange juice or green peppers. Otherwise my whole night is fuked. I buy the generic dollar store version and they work just fine.

spent last new years eve having a colonscopy and endoscopy because of my acid reflux and chroms diesise. found out a lot of my intenstine is ate away because my body is producing to much and it cause real bad pain. i have to stay on presciption prevacid now which helps and i have notice that stressing causing my body to produce acid. its different for everyone. what i have found is eating small meals helps even if its a granola bar or something. giving your body something for the acid to work on helps. you have to be carful with acid blockers. your body needs some of that acid so if you keep taking it your body will have harder times digesting foods.

Well I have acid reflux because my stomach valve (I have no idea how it's called in English) doesn't work anymore. I found about it 3 years ago when I spent weeks with acid reflux everyday until I finally went to see a doctor and had to do an endoscopy.

I take Lansoprazol almost everyday since then to lower the acid and since my condition didn't improve, I'm gonna have surgery. So yeah, acid reflux is really bad and I don't want to have it until I die since I'm only 22 =/

Yes, it sucks!!! I can't eat pizza or mexican stuff like that without having it... dont think mine is as bad as yours though.

That's what I take, and I get it free. My wife went to the website and they offered a card that allows us to get it free. I don't know why, but I've found that if you visit the sites of the pills you take they offers discounts and stuff. I haven't paid for Dexilant in over a year.

I doubt that will work. It will actually worsen it because you are mixing acid with acid. You have to mix the stomach acid with a base to neutralize it. That's how the antacids work.

no, the apple cider did work, apple cider vinegar is acid, . I would never take any drug for acid reflux. I just got away
from taking my minimum dose of vinegar and it came back.

Like i said, you get acid reflux because you don't have enough acid. Not because you have too much.

those purple pills do work, but the reflux just comes back and you stay on the pills forever

apple cider vinegar has reliever for over a decade. one episode over this time. it took 5 days of 2 adays to get rid of this.
