after 2 wins vs the Rockets and Suns i think the Lakers could go 82-0 really. Actually they struggled against the Rockets down most of the game not very impressive opener. Tonight beating a suns team that played on a back to back. Not to mention the suns won't make the playoffs this year in the west. Lets hold off on the 72 win talk for now.

Yao will make 17 million this year. Putting Miami way over the luxury tax.

This season is the last for his current deal, but for Miami to get him, they would have to trade something of value. Daryl Morey thinks a lot of Yao. Why would Miami trade anyone worth a damn to get a player who would leave at the end of the season? And if he didn't leave, Miami would have to pay big $'s to outbid the rest of the league and sign him to a deal, thus crippling their ability to sign any worthwhile FA's for the near few years.
