MetallicA's 1996 album LOAD was shunned by most of the old school die hard MetallicA fans when it first came out. I can't say I liked it much either when I first bought it. However, in time the album really started to grow on me. Two of my favorite MetallicA songs of all time are on this album. They are The Outlaw Torn and Bleeding Me. Both songs are absolutely brilliant. Here's Bleeding Me... I believe this song is about addiction... specifically alcohol addiction in James' case. My favorite line in the song is "This thorn in my side is from the tree I planted!".

I agree, I guarantee there are little junior high/high school kids singing, "sniff more sniff more" not good.. This song song is getting pretty big..

Here's the last track on MetallicA's 1996 LOAD album. This is one of my favorite MetallicA songs of all time and one of my favorite songs of all time in general. I can't think of a more underrated MetallicA song in my opinion. The lyrics in this song are heavy duty. If you have a short attention span then this song is probably not for you.
