Books wouldnt offer these at the prices they do if the public was consistently crushing the books. Youll hit some and think they have long term profitability all over them, but they dont. Focus on winning one game, not 2 or 3.

with domestic books i stopped playing teasers. now i find the adjusted lines i like and use them. this way not all lines are adjusted by the same value.

teasers themselves never worked for me. def lost more than i bet.

I'm old enough to remember 6-point two-team +100 with ties win. And the books didn't try to engineer main lines to avoid teasers. I remember teasing down -9 to essentially -2.5-240 on a ML that was like -450.

teasers is like betting the pointspread you need to be on the right number, its more a matter of knowing what to pick , but i think in the long run it adds +/- 10percent of hitting, because most of the time the teaser wins when the pointspread also cover

A teaser is just an alternate line parlay. At 2 teams -120 it's around -282 per leg. So just look at each individual leg and ask yourself if you would make that single wager.

wk 1 the worst for teasers , more variance.

I like the Adj. line bet instead. I was taught to make a tease Ultra effective you should cross over 2 so called football prime numbers ( 3. 7, 10, 14, 17, etc.). The higher you go the less effective your 6 pts. becomes. EX.- if the line is 7 1/2 tease it down crossing 7 and 3. Good Luck! Don't fall in love with teasers.

Very true, Stackin! There's this idea out there that Teasers are a magic money tree. Surely the -120 kills this theory.

If you're a good capper and you put yourself on the right side, so often you're going to feel like you left $$ on the table. $110 to win $100, instead of $100 to win $260.

I've never seen any math that shows me the 6-pt jump turns it into a +EV risk. And you always have to seen out a 2nd leg and SETTLE for what's available. I refuse to believe people are stacking profits from Teaser success.
