So I have a separate thread on why I think San Diego state can make a run. As far as New Mexico State goes, I could also seem them making it to the second week. They play good defense and have wins against some good teams this year such as Miami and Davidson as well as a sweep of in-state rival New Mexico. Don’t be surprised to see the Aggies make a run.

Wiz whats you thoughts on the Bonnies pick? I watched most of the A10 tourney and when I saw this matchup really liked UCLA with their huge advantage in the paint......Bonnies would really have to hit a high percentage of 3's to keep this close

Bonnie's just chuck 3s like Davidson that's all they do so if they hit 10 of 25 they win

The guard matchup is really good. Adams is a hell of a player. He’s one of those kids who just knows how to play despite the fact that he’s not a great athlete. He does a really nice job of changing speeds and isn’t afraid to pull the trigger from deep. He seems to embrace the big moments. Mobley is more athletic. He shoots a lot of 3s but also slashes more while Adams handles the ball. For UCLA, the ball is in Aaron Holiday’s hands a lot and he takes his share of shots. Jaylen Hands is talented but he never really improved over the course of the year. Didn’t help that he hurt his ankle though. Like you said, UCLA has a size advantage. Welsh has been there forever and he has added a 3 point shot this year.

On paper, UCLA has the advantage. Wilkes, Goloman, Ali, etc have all developed nicely and give the Bruins an advantage athletically but I believe the Bonnies can compete here. I think it’s a tight game that ends up coming down to the final minutes so I took the points.

I like the St. Bonnies pick but I ended up taking UCLA ml. I do think the Bonnies keep it close enough to cover though for you but in the end I see UCLA winning a close one.

Ucla may play St Bonny's to the wire. Not easy to call, am leaning towards Bruins. Game I like is Texas So. They should beat NC Central by a basket. Odds moving to -5 on the Eagles making it riskier.
