Two other examples since my post. That's a rule they need to change at least for the playoffs. I could see tie breaker stuff even though that is seriously weak. The only ones it effects is gamblers and the NFL is anti gambling making it even more bizarre.

This is tied with the worst gambling beat I've ever taken in my 20 years of betting sports, horses and casino games. Not in terms of money lost. But the way I lost (had saints ml).

The other I speak of is back in Nov 2004 had clippers -3 at Chicago, clips up 4 and magette goes 1 for 2 at the line to make it 5 with 6 seconds. Then deng dunks it with 3 seconds so it's at 3, fukk a push, but hey ok, bulls foul. Clippers dummy goes 1 for 2 with 1 second, clips up 4 and I got the win...until Kirk Heinrich throws up a meaningless half court shot at the buzzer and swish..clips win by 1, I lose. Unreal.

Honorable mention had $100 exacta with a 1-9 favorite on top in a harness race in Ohio and there was a klennex or napkin on the track and when the horse saw it, it spooked it and made it jump off stride. Also bet on a horse that was up by 20 lengths on a half mile track at northville Downs in Michigan. On the first turn one of the pigs in the back hit a pylon and it was laying in the middle of the track. Nobody picked it up and when the horse on the lead was coming home, it ran right over the pylon and broke stride, even though it had a 20 length lead, it went inside the course before finishing resulting in a dq.
