#37Today is 8 weeks since she has passed. It has been hard still. The kids are a big help to keep going. We dedicated a movie to her yesterday the first movie i have watched since she passed.
We ordered Strombolis and Fries and Mozzarella sticks and desserts. From her memorial we watched Sonic 3. I think she would have liked it. My nieces were here to honor her . Hopefully with her there at the memorial i can start watching movies and shows again. This was the first i watched since she passed.
Still one day at a time.Comment -

#38I wanted to say i will not be gambling for awhile if at all again. I am in a bad place right now. My wonderful wife who i spent 22+ years with i lost this past Sunday. She did not like me gambling so i do not feel right doing anything right now since my world has been taken from me. I will check in from time to time but right now i will not be betting anymore. She was only 65 and it was very sudden one day bringing her breakfast and two days later she was taken from me.Thank you all for the talks and not sure how i will survive this but i will take this one day at a time.Comment -

You seem to have a great family . A byproduct of the hard work , love and dedication you and your wife presented from day 1.

#41Cappy you’re in are thoughts and prayers. You were one of the, if not the greatest one here at sbr been following youre raves and rants a long time and loved youre rants even though most of the time it hurt for you. For sure take all the time you need through this unbearable time gambling should be the last thing on youre mind and can depress you more as you need to find hobbies that give you peace at this time. Hope to see you again just talking catching up on life, about Bigfoot ghosts or whatever it might be just seeing you post and get better little by little is a start may god bless you with everything you deserve through this heartbreaking timeComment -

#44Our anniversary would have been Yesterday . Married 23 years had she not passed.Gone 11 + weeks now. I have still not placed a bet since she has been gone. It has been hard. Little things trigger more depression on.
I do miss everyone here and doing my ramblings. I may come back not heavily just a little for football season. But i wanted to hold off because the stress is just too much on top of everything that has happened. And i am not really sure i will come back . It just depends how i am feeling. My gambling had nothing to do with her passing But she did not like my gambling so i stopped to honor her wishes .
My family and friends have been critical to my surviving . My friends wife did not want me alone yesterday depressed so she made a nice dinner and invited my nieces and her husband . The nieces that work for me. The one had to work but the other came with her husband. These friends are the same ones i was supposed to go to the Mothman festival with but we got covid . I am going this year actually next month with them i think she would have wanted me to go .
I lit an electric candle all day Sat and Sun for her and had it next to her in the memorial. I watched a movie called Flow . Before she passed i played the trailer she wanted to see it. She just passed before we did. The little cat reminds me of our Snickers. My wife LOVED cats. So do i really . Her Obituary instead of flowers there was a link to donate to a cat shelter in her name. She would have loved this movie. Hopefully she watched it from the other side with me from the Memorial where her Urn is.
I am still having a hard time but Snickers and Twix need me still and i need them to just survive. Anyway hope you are all doing well. Here's a couple pics of her memorial and Snickers (Her baby in the box)and Twix (On the bed)and the dinner my friends wife made and a scene from Flow
Take care guys ....🥰 2Comment -

#46It's not the same here without your ramblings either Cappy.
But you do what you need to do and dont worry about us.
Even though it's sad for now, I'm glad you continue to check in.

I think being back here just talking with the gang will help. It will help you get back in the swing of things and hopefully will get your focus on good things, all us degenerates here!😀 1Comment -

#62help checking in from time to time. And trying to get all this financial stuff in order. I fell behind on all my own Drs stuff so doing those too . And of course once they see you they find more stuff to talk about. I wanted to go to my diabetes Dr but they said i needed bloodwork. Finally got that now they want me in for a wellness thing. And still have to see the Diabetes Dr. She always went with me there so that will be a bit tough when i go for that too.Comment -
