Depends how you played it. if yo played them straight and counted his thread before the chase stuff, you are making money.

    Math,

your handicapping is good. the way you posted the plays before this thread was gold. Don't listen to the haters. keep posting like you did before!

Why do you need a math model to do this system though? Just pick any team for example the Braves. Either keep betting on them to lose or win every night. Your call. Then see if they go on a 7-0 or 0-7 streak to lose it all. I don't think you need a model to do this system.

    Exactly!

But, I've done it too many times to count with most of them not turning out so well.

However, that's evening out for me in the last year or so where I've won just about all $3K+ bets (more than 10 times in the last month alone); otherwise I would be down tens thousands.

Now that I said that, I better watch out going forward as things will even out eventually and it could go back to losing those big bets. I hope not because I will have to go home then.

Chasing is already bad enough but using the Martingale strategy makes it infinitely worse.

Two things gamblers should NEVER do but almost everyone does it for whatever the reason. I've done it all my gambling life and I still do it. It just takes luck to not lose it all so quickly.

I'm on a non-losing streak for the past 9 months casino gambling almost everyday. I wish I could make my wife stop losing all the time. I gave her over $10K since the Super Bowl and she've lost almost all of it already.

I'm prepared to make the final play if it comes to that. As ive always said, The Chase is great, until it ISNT. its particularly disturbing as Arizona won on the moneyline. Technically the model got the Win but I did not.

    Good luck to everyone

Thanks, so far so good. Made it easily thru the first 14. I believe the overall record in the thread is a steady (14-9) with one Push.

I bet pretty heavy on my models Top Plays. This thread is merely a side project. I was calling it my summer project. We will see how it goes.

I'll run this until one of my models suffer a 5 game losing streak. This will be baseball only. It's not an endless Chase, it's five games only. Each Chase will be to win ($100). A Chase loss will cost me from ($4000-$5000).

I'm only running this until one Chase loss occurs, at that time, the thread will end.

    The Math Chase (0-0) ($0)

    Sunday May 4

    Chase 1
    A) Oakland Over 8.5 (-115) $115 to win $100

    Chase 2
    A) Giants -1.5 (-155) $155 to win $100

This is not a Chase on any particular team. Its a 5 game Chase on my Top Total model and my Top Side model. Each Chase ends with a Win or a 5 game losing streak.

I'm retired so this will be my summer project, hopefully it lasts for a longtime but you never know. Again I do not advise this and I'll only lose one.

    Mr. Math
Sounds like a solid plan, Math. Wishing you a smooth run—hope both models stay hot!

Thanks, I'll try and run this thread until a loss occurs. If possible..... That may be with the next Chase or it might be with Chase 500. Who knows.

Good luck to everyone. And if anyone follows this,,,,,,,, know the risks that a 5 game Martingale Chase carries.

its really simple,,,,,,, I just need to avoid a 5 game losing streak by one of my two models. That's all it comes down too... With each Win, my max risk is reduced by $100.

I have 2 models, one to select the Top Total and the other to select the Top Side. I am simply chasing those Top selections daily. So there is always 2 chases going.

If u want to know the season long record for each model, here you go, since March 27.

Top Total (24-22) with one Push

Top Side (38-9) but let me explain, that is the incredible moneyline record. I have often used the runline (like today) to reduce juice. This has probably been a mistake on my part.
