Yes, these are all travel spots. Grizz in Denver. It's still a long trip, but they will be used to the mile-high altitude.

BYU is a sneaky-good play. They now play in a bigger Conf. The top-player is a big-time NBA prospect.
...VCU is a mid-major that everyone loves. But it's a brutal travel-spot. Long trip and they go up to Altitude.

*Grizz didn't cover. But that's exactly what I wanted. Thought it might be a Hang-the-# game. See the Play-by-Play. Coaches clear the bench in these mismatch games. They want to give their bench-players minutes in an NCAA tournament game. Grizz got the L2 shots of the game, just couldn't get the backdoor cover.

ARK up 10 on StJohn's. I'd be pretty impressed to see Cal get the Hogs to the Sweet 16 in Season One.

Pitino and Calipari have issues going way back. I'm sure that Cal would relish this win:
1) To the KY fans - who sent him out on a rail. Thanks for nothin.
2) To jam Pitino - and to claim rank as the top Pisano.

1) He's into the Sweet 16.
2) He just beat Pitino when people were touting St John's for Final Four.
3) He did it in a total rebuilding job. There was no roster when he arrived.

Telling you, I barely watch these games nowadays. I only know a few player names.

It's a matter of studying these games over a long stretch of time. You do get a sense of where there might be value. And I love my Rand McNally plays!

It's not unusual for a team to have a tough game in the midst of a Championship run. They advanced, and that wasn't a given. Hope the Gators dine on MD crab-cake.

Hi, Spiro! Go back into the sports-book history. Long-timers will know that SPIRO ran Olympic sportsbook (IE, the greek).

So, that's a great name. Chuck is a nick-name, I've mentioned the derivation of that nickname in the past.

I posted all my plays on the board during 2024. Most I ever risked was 5-units. This thread is less serious, so I'd say that 3-units will be my max.

UConn women are -28.5 tonight against SD State.

Lay the lumber with confidence, I have to go offshore to bet them though I'm a Connecticut resident and the dopey state laws state that betting on any Ct. school is off limits.

I was watching the first-round action, UConn beat Arkansas St. by 70 points.
The Huskies were up 50 points at the half 66-15.
I was laying on my sofa actually rooting for Arky State towards the end of the first half to score, those poor girls couldn't buy a thrill, every shot was brick, it was like a mason convention with all those bricks being laid.

The thing of it was Geno wasn't trying to stick it to them, he just had his team play suffocating defense tournament ball.
I think even Geno felt bad about that score.

Azzi Fudd is my girl, she hit almost shot she took, Paige knew she was on fire, so Paige kept dishing, Paige isn't interested in numbers, just wins, but my God the Bueckers-Fudd combination is clicking on all eight cylinders, that inside out game is a thing of beauty to watch albeit men, women, or barnyard animals, Geno's an amazing coach, and props to Chrissy, who's been right beside Geno as his right hand man (girl) since 1984, she's 65 and still easy on the eyes, she was stunning when she was in her 30's and 40's, still is.

As for the Women's NCAA, I followed it very closely last year. One trend I'm seeing = the big favs are laying it on THICK this year. Last year the dogs were covering those big #s.

My wife is younger than Chris Dailey, she's easy on the eyes as well.
The women's tourney is all chalk and will be an all chalk final four.
This is the fun part, the final four will be packed with powerhouses and it'll be wide-open.
