The biggest problem the experts are having is it moves lightening fast, faster than anything they have seen before, that is the problem, they can't track what ebola does from a to b to c to d, beacause once they figure out what it does when it enters the system which is a) to what it does next which is b) the virus is already up to f)

But it looks like the CDC and everybody else dedicated to stopping this has made inroads, but the people whose words can be trusted are frustrated because they can't keep up so far.

Problem was they were cocky and thought they had shit under control before it showed up. Regular hospitals had next to know preps for this sort of thing. Some great specialized hospitals like at Emory where the 2nd nurse is going and Nebraska and other places, but Any City, USA was under the impression they had a handle on it when they had zero.

Feel terrible for the staff at Presby here in Dallas who basically brought a nerf bat to a knife fight.

Ebola has been around for a long time.

There is literally ZERO chance the CDC didn't know the ins and outs of this disease before it went mainstream. The CDC is borderline incompetent at times, but it's not even close to that bad. If you want to make the argument that the CDC doesn't have a complete understanding of how it spreads, I'd buy that. No one does for sure yet. But to assume the CDC isn't aware of the timeframe a person has who has contracted the disease is giving them literally zero credit.
