Its official, CS told me they just got word from their withdraw departments that the wires supposed to hit by 4/25 will need another 5 days. And I thought I was going to have to wait another 15 minutes to get a new story. I will be contacting my card tomorrow. If anyone has had any luck with the chargebacks, please post. I might not get all of my money back, but if they lose credibilty with the credit cards, maybe they won't be able to take CC deposits anymore and I can save someone else money.Comment -
I don't know why any of you idiots would still be talking about chargebacks. The only people that should be doing chargebacks are those that have less to withdraw than what they deposited. I'm pretty sure that most of the people that started posting on this thread have gotten paid. The only people posting regularly are those that started posting after the fact and are still waiting, or new people jumping on board because there withdrawals are delayed now. Granted I haven't deposited since I waited almost a month for my withdrawal and have since opened a bodog.com account, but I am still playing with what I have in my sportsbook account and if I don't lose it, I expect it to get to me... just probably not very quickly.Comment -

That is easy for you to say. You requested on the 23rd, me on the 19th. You got yours on the 20th, me nothing yet. Not to mention my first request was at the beginning of February before it was put back into my account in mid March. Sit in my shoes and tell me you wouldn't be pissed and looking for any way to get something out of them. A ********** is the last thing I want to do, but it is at least something instead of nothing. How do I know anyone has been paid. I would like to believe it, but I don't know any of you personally, so how do I know for sure. pretty much. cant call back and claim i didnt know what the charges were or that i didnt authorize them. hell they go back months and months. im not about to fraudulently claim someone stole my info or whatever. if youre comfortable being that "creative" then have at it. i also have chase, and they were way more understanding about it. limited to 118 days. i just looked into it to see how long the time limit was. by the way, as soon as i pay off my BOA balance, im done with them. pretty crappy customer service all around ive found. not just related to this situation. if you have BOA/MBNA, do not tell them the charges are gambling related (they probably will not believe you anyway).
also, i just got my first check from WSEX today fedex for a withdrawal i made on 4/17. do the math. thats 8 days. SB.com can suck a fat one.Comment -

I've been playing online for about 5 years and like many people looked elsewhere with sportsbooks when Neteller went anti-US. I played on BetRoyal for about 2 years and even through last football season. I decided since I wouldn't be in Vegas for the NCAA tournament this year I would take a shot at a new sportsbook. I had used sportsbook.com once before, but it had been a while. So after turning down the 30% bonus offered to me from BetRoyal, I took the advice from a friend who uses SB regularly and told me about the SUPER FAST PAYOUTS and the CONVENIENCE OF ACCEPTED CREDIT CARDS! WHOO-HOO I WAS IN! Then it got ugly...
First round of the tournament I placed one bet, a ten team parlay which hit 7 out 10 with 3 pushes. For God's sake, 3 pushes! Well a win is a win, so I decided to go ahead and take the few hundred and bolt. I guess you all know what happened next. As I began my payout procedure, I was told there was NOT a check option, only bank wire. Red flag #1. Well, okay, so I got the information and was perplexed as to why SB had a customer service telephone number, but no direct phone contact with the accounting department. Strange. Not to be deterred, red flag #2 was behind me.
Couple of weeks go by, I get drunk a couple of times and for shats and giggles cuss out the online CS people about the time frame. Runaround, runaround. Red flag #3. Hmm, maybe I should have taken that bonus from the BetRoyal marketing rep.
Then last week, doing a google search, I found this post and low and behold, RED FLAGS #4-INFINITY!
I am a part of the now infamous March 21st batch. I have been entertaining myself reading these posts for about a week. My few hundred dollars are just a drop in the bucket compared to some of you guys, and I realize the urgency and anger you feel.
However, I am wondering why no one has created the anti-SB website, or some sort of petition against it. I know now wouldn't be the ideal time, being that all of our money is still in their hands, but after this is said and done, I think that it would be a good idea to petition together so that new players don't get mixed up with this outfit of jokers. Just throwing that out there!

i know how you feel. at one point i was planning on doing the same thing, but then i realized that it won't solve anything. you just have to be patient like the rest of us. i still have 300 dollars stuck in their pipeline. when you get your money, you should just do a ********** out of spite. that hurt them the most. those poor customer service people are taking all the crap while the managers are figuring out ways to get more deposits in.Comment -

Did you also find out how many days back they normally go? And is it from the day it's on your statement or from the day that you actually get your statement in the mail? i talked to cs and they told me that my wires processed last week wont be affected by the new processor change over, they claim that they have new wire processors... for whatever thats worth. I hope so since they had to expect this would happen, i hope they are looking way ahead this time around. And just get epassporte already!!

I have two withdrawals pending with sportsbook.com. One made on 4/10 for $1000 and one made for $1775 on 4/24. I got the ten to fifteen day routine. When things were right the check would come 2-3 days after the request, to call and ask anything seems to be a waste of time because it seems like their own people do not know anything. I also have bets pending on the playoffs with them. Will I get paid or will the website disappear overnite?? Stay tuned---same bat time same lyin sack o' shit SB.Comment -
So SB was credible at one time? I use Carib and decided to switch to SB. I am going back to Carib. Carib has great customer service and their withdrawals are always there fast. Update on wire from 3/9/07 NOTHING FROM THE SCUMBAGS AT SPORTSBOOK.COM YET. THEY HAVE HAD MY SAME WIRE INFO FOR 8 YRS NOW. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE IN MY ACCOUNT TODAY 4/25/07 OR THEY WILL HAVE A NEW STOREY FOR ME.

Why are you so certain that thier processors are gone. Who did you speak to. Benson claims he said no such thing. All of the CS people keep insisting that they lost no one. Even if it was true, I can't imagine that the cs people would even know. And if it was because of the U blocking transactions, it would effect eevryone, even those whose wires were currently in transit.Comment -
simply that chargebacks are not available for gambling charges. end of story. usually the time frame is 90 days from the date you get the statment, but it is possible to extend that period if you have some sort of communication from the merchant that the dispute will be settled, i.e., that you will be paid. i think that can give you some more time. if you can get around the problem of them knowing what the charges are. you should call and ask some questions. however, the banks was able to pull up my card info from my cell phone number, so if you want to remain anonymous, call from a number not associated with your account and ask abstract questions. otherwise, they will make a note to your account...Comment -

Back myself. After wating 30 days (non-business) for my first withdrawal I recieved it, 2 fridays ago. Now have 3 withdrawals pending totaling over 20k. Seems I cant lose now that is hard as crap to get your money out (KNOCK ON WOOD.) Anyway today is 11 business days since first bank wire request of the 20k. Still not processed. Called up yesterday and talked to the cs people. Asked a lot of questions and they answered all of them very convincingly. Apparently, and take this for what its worth, they had a 28 million dollar backlog from the withdrawal delay caused by processor drop. As of last week they had knocked out 12 million of that. Still leaves another 16 million to go. I imagine its not easy to move millions of dollars a day to thousands of different accounts. I do think they are backed up and are working through this backlog. Could they be lying? I guess but I hope not since Iam waiting on that money to pay off the last of my gambling debts and finally break even. The individual continued to tell me that they manage over 300 books and have roughly 50,000 members. I told them that they have been getting hammered in the forums but they assured me that there continues to be money flowing through the book and that those who have gotten paid are redepositing among many new others. So hopefully we will all get our money but it sucks that I have to wait 2 months to receive it. I believe since it is so hard right now to depoist with other books that jazette's ability to process any credit card is allowing them to still recieve the largest amounts of deposits over the internet right now. Take that for what its worth though

And as for the 3/21 batch, I have no explanation for that. All u guys should get together on that one and find out who got paid and who did not. I would definitely be bothering customer service because that batch is either lost or has been fraudalently abused by the processor and sportsbook.com is trying to find out what happened to it and what they are going to do to reimburse u guys that are affected.Comment
