I wish I took it, I did 2 straight bets instead and hit both. Still down 1474 on the week.

Also max bet is 500 so the most I could have made is around 2k I guess.

You simply play with discretionary money (as posted above). If you REALLY need the extra money, you pick up a 2nd job for a while. Make good on it b/c you REALLY don't want to be paying interest on a big figure.

depends on exactly how expensive and how necessary the repairs are. I would first try to do them myself. But if that's not an option, I would either just get the car repairs done or go shopping for a new one. Home repairs I would just do whatever would make it livable.

Would also pay off the credit balance, then just use that as another out to arb, middle, chase steam, hit openers and props, etc.

It's ususally the knees busted, but let's not go there.

This is a true story.

My younger brother had a friend who was a bookie for a Philadelphia mob. He tried to be smart and started taking bets on both sides without putting them in with the mob so he could make the vigs just like how sportsbooks allegedly make their money. He got caught and the mob was pretty much going to kill the idiot unless he paid them tens thousands. He asked my younger brother for money to save his life, so my brother helped him out and then he disappeared without paying back. What a douche to mess with the mob. He's lucky that he didn't end up at the bottom of a river with cement blocks on his feet. Or, maybe he did.
