If I had to bet this game (and I don't) I'd lean Balty 1H, and hope they get off to a hot start, if they do I guarantee you won't see Jackson, Henry, and the other rowdy Raven first teamers in the 2H.

I might take the Browns just because it's such an absurd number for an NFL game.

The fact that these professional athletes know they're a 20 point underdog in a game against colleagues of the same profession should be enough to light a fire in their belly. That is downright insulting. I don't care who's starting at quarterback, Charlie Brown is a step up from DTR.

Don't forget, the Browns starting lineup is vastly different than the opening day version... There are a lot of key contributors that aren't out there anymore, most of which are due to injury, the latest being Denzel Ward.

Very true. But doesn't Balt. pull starters late in the 4th up 21-27 points? And if so, it is like a 2nd and 3rd string game. So many if's. Not that all these games aren't but a back door like that would be especially painful.

Baltimore only needs to win, regardless of margin and they may not even need to do that if Pittsburgh (a 2.5 point dog to a hot Cincinnati team) loses or ties; they'll probably be aware of the Cin/Pit score and might act accordingly. Given that, why is the line so high? Does someone know something about an utter lack of motivation on the Browns' side? The +20 looks way too good to be true.

This is a good point. I mentioned how hard it's been for me to find value in the NFL in 2024.

Used to be that the massive Dogs were ATS value. It's supposed to be a league of parity. Not so much this year.

In the past this would be a game where the CLEV players and coaches were looking out for their jobs. They'd be playing for 2025 contracts. If there's no sense of urgency, Who cares?
