Well, let's hope it goes better than this new backend install.
If it doesn't look right, just tell the techs to flip it over....

A back-end system supports back office applications.
By separating the front end and the back end that lightens the load on the front end,
I'm guessing the back-end at SBR supports the databases and other IT components that provides the odds and scores and everything sports and gambling related, while the front end at SBR handles the GUI (graphic user interface)
Both sides don't 'see' each other.
The back end's main purpose it so execute the front end's request as to what it wants run (executed)
Since it hurts my brain to think on weekends, I'll stop right here.

It was a new type of CMS Steve.
Looks like it went smoothly though.

Figured it was something along those lines when you mentioned it may affect SBR's odd's and such.
CMS is content management system, it actually has two components. (CMA and CDA)
CDA is the content delivery app, that's on the backend, that supports the content, delivers the data on request from the front end, yadda, yadda, yadda, and all that other happy horseshit that'll bore most human beings to tears.
Good to see the money going into software upgrades.
You guys needed it. Reassuring.

The fact that nothing has broken yet is a good sign. I am assuming that this is the last piece before the store reopens.

Dude I was on the East Side last night. La Super Rica for dinner and then went to the bowl for a show with my son. Rolled up to IV this morning to show him the school and the old haunts.

Currently most pages are slow to load, if they take long enough we get the gateway timeout.
Sometimes while it's just spinning, trying to load if you reload the page it pops up immediately.
Sometimes.
It's hit and miss with its brief moments of high speed perfection between real slow loading times.

Admin says they are chasing down the problem as quickly as possible.
It appears to be across all services right now so is not just the new CMS.
@Shady, reset your trivia to pop up again.

I don't have the resources here on my business laptop to break down all the details, but this is what it looks like what's going on.
SBR is reaching out to https://analytics.google.com/ for data,.
SBR's request for data was successful, the problem is on Google's end as it's very slow on acknowledging the request.
Like I said, this is an educated guess, I don't have the resources to troubleshoot/problem solve this.

Thanks Steve. I'll post this in the private support thread.
Company does have more sharp technical people than you realize though. It's not lack of knowledge I don't think.

I know the techs on your end are sharp, I know what they do, they're sharp.
I just have once issue and it's an opinion issue, not a fact, I get the feeling at times the techs treat problems with a low sense of urgency, but that's it my only negative thought, and I am not even sure that even qualifies as 'negative'
If this problem is what I think it is, there's nothing they can do as it's not on SBR's end.
But they are on the inside looking in, I'm on the outside looking in, of course they are sharp, and sharper than I am.

Yes it feels a bit like that to me too at times. But honestly, I don't really know enough about whats going on in the background to know.
