I don’t play much in AC anymore. I get those levels thru tier matches from NY casinos.

It's no big deal as it's not costing me any since the room is comped.

What dates are you planning on staying in AC? If you need more than Fri/Sat/Sun, then I can probably get them for you too but it would be in a different casino like Caesars or Hard Rock. Since Caesars is comping me for the previous week, from Monday, 07/15, to Thursday, 07/18, I just booked it too and you can have that too if you want and if don't need it then I will just cancel. The following week is at a rate probably because people want to vacay before the school starts and they are more willing to pay for the rooms, but when the casino cannot sell their rooms then they comp to players at the last minute so I'm sure Caesars will open them up near the date if you want that week instead.

Hard Rock rooms are better but Caesars remodeled their Centurion Tower so Caesars is almost as good but their rooms are a bit smaller.

For the weekend, Friday to Sunday, IF I play at Bally's (like only an hour when I play hours at a time), then they would give me an access to their VIP lounge and you can have that too. That allows access to a free meal and drinks for two people. It was great when it was a buffet style, but now it's just an okay meal and nothing more.

I also have unlimited access to Caesars Laurel lounge, so you can get free meals for the weekend if you want and I don't mind at all to let you in. Although, Tropicana is better since it's still the mini-buffet style there. All Laurel Lounges in AC used to be great, but ever since the COVID Eldorado who bought CET got rid of the buffet style so they aren't as good as before. Still free food is free food and it only costs the tip money.

Honestly, Borgata has the BEST player lounge of any casinos I have been in. I can let you in there just for an experience if you want. I asked big joe 1212 what player level card he holds at Borgata since if he also has Gold or higher, then he also has access to the Amphora Lounge but if not then I will see if I can let you two in. It depends on who's working at the desk as it's supposed to be the player and one other person, but if it's someone I know then she will let two people in besides me. Or else, I will have to use my dad's player card on top of mine or something like that.

It could be with the lame ass slow WIFI at Bally's as I'm using their free WIFI in the room, but then I'm not having issues with any other sites I'm browsing.

It looks like CET also renovated the Ocean Tower too.

I guess they saved enough money by closing all of the Laurel Lounges in Vegas and cheapening the Laurel lounges in Atlantic City to do the renovations.

But, the Caesars casino is a mess with a construction going on in the casino floor so I would avoid gambling there unless they finish it before the weekend of 08/18.

I went to Caesars to eat at their Laurel lounge and it was closed, and the sign said to go eat at Tropicana or Harrah's. This is on Saturday when it's the busiest day of the week. They already closed all Laurel lounges in Vegas, reduced the offering at AC lounges from buffet style to order one lousy stinking dish and also cut down the days they are open from everyday to Fri/Sat/Sun only and then this? This is really sad for CET.

At least they finished the construction right outside of the high roller pit, but all they did was put up some big screens to distract gamblers even more. Nothing else is changed as the tables and the games are all the same.

All games with the automatic shufflers and the automatic position numbers are rigged as hell so no one can win in any of the casinos. Caesars is absolutely the worst of them all and maybe Borgata too ever since MGM took them over.

DJ, agree with you about the casinos being wired shut. They don't want to gamble. They just want to take your $$, don't fall for it.

I wonder how long it takes for an Atl City sports-bettor to get shown the door, if they show they have any clue.

Funny story. Ray called like anyone else who wanted to play. Didn’t have an assistant or anything. Wanted to play yesterday but we were booked. I told him he could go out before the 1st tee time at 545am he said “geez I thought the 1st tee times were 730-8am He then calls back and I answer & he says “hey John it’s Ray Romano”. Thought that was pretty funny. Think he has a beach house in Long Beach Island. I’ll mention the poker story

I just realized something that I should have done before just cancelling the room for this week including the weekend.

If big joe is paying for his room at Borgata, I could have given it to him instead and he could have just pay the fees.

Hopefully, the rooms are comped for him but if they aren't then I could've saved him some money.

Either that, I could have even offered to anyone else who wants come. My mind isn't working too well these days.

Considering the high gas price, driving from where you are to AC would cost you close to $100 including tolls.

Don't they have casino buses from where you are to AC?

If they do, then I can get you a room for a couple of days during weekdays. Interested?

I can't do weekends because my parents are coming up for 3 weeks at a time every month and I have to give them a room and I have to use the other. I used to get 3 rooms, but Bally's just changed their rating system and they've gotten really cheap with the room offers. Besides, I haven't played when I stayed there every weekend in July, so I don't blame them.

I guess I have to put in the hours at the baccarat tables again and take a few thousands from them, then I'm sure they will start offering again to get the money back from me. LOL

Tom Dwan claims that he saw a guy fold Quads in an all-in situation, where there were 3 to a Straight Flush on the board.

After fold, guy didn't show. But belief is that the Winner did in fact hold a Straight Flush.

Huge folds are insane. I've seen Garrett Adelstein make some huge folds (and be right). Saw him fold JJ on set under set vs KK.

Also, the Asian girl who folded AQ that made Full House on AQQ board. She did actually fold the lesser boat vs AA.
