If you are really going to that bash, then I have an extra reservation at Bally's for that weekend. If I don't need the room, then I'll offer it to you for only the mandatory state fee of $5.74 per night. The room is comped, but everyone pays the state fees. I don't get charged the resort fees. Currently, the booking is for 3 nights of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but I can probably move it to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday if wanted. Or, I can probably get you a room at Hard Rock for Thursday, so you could have 4 nights.
But, come to think of it, Bally's has been kind of crazy this summer and it's very hard to get a room in the Bally's Tower (completely remodeled this year) when checking in on Friday. There's a much better chance of getting the new room if checking in on Thursday and you get the same room for the stay. Then, if you need Sunday too, then I can get it at Hard Rock.
The comped room offers change constantly, so make up your mind fast.Comment -

I used to play nothing but blackjack until the automatic shuffling machines came around.
Then, I played Pai Gow Poker until it became Face Up which then the casinos can rig it so bad that you just cannot win. It's the same with the Asia Poker game if the position selector is by the machine and not dice.
Then, I learned Pai Gow Tiles just because it uses a set of dice for selecting who gets the tiles first and I have fared quite well and as a matter of fact won $400 last night playing only about an hour.
Now, it's mostly baccarat ever since I saw a thread on another forum about a player who won $700,000 in only about 6 months and he never lost for the month in any of the months so I'm trying to duplicate what he is doing and it looks like it's very possible. The op of that thread said that baccarat is his sole source of income and I believe it; especially when you are clearing 100K winnings a month flat betting. His betting unit size is $500 now and he started with $100 in the first month and gradually up it by $100 each month until he reached $500 and he is there permanently and his daily bankroll is $25,000.
But Borgata has gone nuts with their baccarat table limits as the high limit was $500 minimum last night which is just crazy on a weekday night.
Had I sat down and played with that guy's bet selection, I would have cleared 10K in about 30 minutes, but I was too chicken to play that high limit.

#272I swear catching COVID once every year for the past 3 years and as recently as a month ago got my brain all screwed up.
Sorry, the mandatory fee is $7.54 per night and not $5.74. I noticed it when I was checking in at the Hard Rock casino hotel for my sister.
State Casino Occupancy Fee ($3.00/night)
Tourism Promotion Fee ($2.00/night plus estimated tax*)
State Casino Hotel Surcharge ($2.00/night plus estimated tax*)
Regardless, I'm sure that's still cheaper than staying at "The El", so if you really do have a reservation at "The El" and aren't locked-in to that reservation, i.e. can cancel it, then you are welcome to take the Bally's room.Comment -

Here's what I can offer for you:
1) $200 appearance fee. That ONLY APPLIES to VIP posters like you, Manny, and JJ Gold. I'd kick in $200 to Optional, too, if he flew in all the way from Australia.
2) A special gift. This applies to ANY sbr poster who shows up. I would say SBR Pro only, but that appears to have died off.
8/20, think I'll likely attend the baseball game. Maybe Game 2 in Philly.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#278It's no big deal as it's not costing me any since the room is comped.
What dates are you planning on staying in AC? If you need more than Fri/Sat/Sun, then I can probably get them for you too but it would be in a different casino like Caesars or Hard Rock. Since Caesars is comping me for the previous week, from Monday, 07/15, to Thursday, 07/18, I just booked it too and you can have that too if you want and if don't need it then I will just cancel. The following week is at a rate probably because people want to vacay before the school starts and they are more willing to pay for the rooms, but when the casino cannot sell their rooms then they comp to players at the last minute so I'm sure Caesars will open them up near the date if you want that week instead.
Hard Rock rooms are better but Caesars remodeled their Centurion Tower so Caesars is almost as good but their rooms are a bit smaller.
For the weekend, Friday to Sunday, IF I play at Bally's (like only an hour when I play hours at a time), then they would give me an access to their VIP lounge and you can have that too. That allows access to a free meal and drinks for two people. It was great when it was a buffet style, but now it's just an okay meal and nothing more.
I also have unlimited access to Caesars Laurel lounge, so you can get free meals for the weekend if you want and I don't mind at all to let you in. Although, Tropicana is better since it's still the mini-buffet style there. All Laurel Lounges in AC used to be great, but ever since the COVID Eldorado who bought CET got rid of the buffet style so they aren't as good as before. Still free food is free food and it only costs the tip money.
Honestly, Borgata has the BEST player lounge of any casinos I have been in. I can let you in there just for an experience if you want. I asked big joe 1212 what player level card he holds at Borgata since if he also has Gold or higher, then he also has access to the Amphora Lounge but if not then I will see if I can let you two in. It depends on who's working at the desk as it's supposed to be the player and one other person, but if it's someone I know then she will let two people in besides me. Or else, I will have to use my dad's player card on top of mine or something like that.Comment -

#279OK, I'm booked:
1) Will be spending all day FRI 7/29 at the National Card Show (at the Atl City Convention Ctr). I don't plan on too much spending. But my eyes will be open to see if I like anything.
2) Meet-up spot is Caesars Sportsbook at Wild Wild West. I'll be in the sportsbook at 7pm.
3) Free gift to any SBR poster who shows up.*
*Gift to ANY SBR poster, except JJ Gold. I'm not wasting my time/effort on that guy.Comment -
