I've been writing about how the swing for the fences, homerun or strikeout era Rob Manfred has been force feeding us for years will damage the sport for a few years now.

I'm not some great visionary, we've (guys like Rosenthal for instance) also saw this coming.

The time has come to replace Manfred with Theo Epstein as commissioner.
Epstein has a lot of good ideas for a fix.

I'll post an Epstein thread a little later on when I have an extra hour or so.

The run of unders might be coming to an end. Five completed games looked like locks for unders after the 6th inning. Four of them ended up pushing or going over and the Giants-Brewers game came close. Looks like the hitters are finally figuring out the army of mediocre BP arms.
