Nobody is owed anything. Betpoints were a benefit of being a member of SBR. They came at discretion of ownership. They could be cancelled at any time. That is why you made a donation. You were not buying anything.

What would you have done in the same situation? Announce you were selling the site and have people cash out on hundreds of thousands of dollars? Where does that happen in the world?

If you were buying this site, would you pay out hundreds of thousands in real dollars when you might not even turn a profit?
