A lot of books are paying out or voiding the bet.

My book is counting it as a loss, but who knows that could change. I'm sure there are many unhappy people.

I let them know how I felt after their first rep told me it's void and then they contacted me to tell me it's actually a loss.

That's fine I can just stop giving them money, I have other books I use. I think it's pretty scummy to tell a customer one thing then change your mind.
