If Montreal beats them Monday I will have a huge bet on the Jets.

What do you mean? They're missing their best player. You can't just plugin guys in the playoffs in nhl, nba, and nfl. Big names matter.

They’re missing their 3rd best player...no excuse but it does hurt.

Leadership is considered a skill too imo, it's part of the formula when assessing best player. That's why Brady is the best qb in the league still today, because he brings out the best in his teammates. That's the definition of a great player. Can you make your teammates better. Brady doesn't have the best arm anymore, but everything else, iq, leadership, comradarie, motivating guys properly, uniquely, clutchness, is why he's the goat. Tavares is the most valuable player to that team.

No excuses, Toronto has a much deeper roster than Montreal.
