DK Metcalf 100 meter dash vs Top USA sprinters on NBC Saturday
Whoops sorry, this airs on Sunday, not Sat.

not sure he long he has been practicing starts out of the block. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt

I'm gonna set the O/U for his time at 10.34

Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf will compete in the 100-meter dash in this weekend’s USATF Golden Games and Distance Open.

I hope he doesn't get hurt. Track and field runners pull muscles all the time.

I think the fact that he broke his neck/spine, teams were staying away from him in the 1st round.

Very true. It's just not worth doing in my book. No matter how great of an athlete you are... Football pays more than this crap.

He can't touch Darrell Green, who ran a 10.08 100m in college and who defeated Willie Gault, an Olympic sprinter, in the NFL Fastest Man competition.

He looks he might be faster in the second half of the race, so the question is how long does it take to get up to speed?

If this is true below, and he could somehow average 22.64 mph without pads and a good start then he would break 10 seconds.

If he can average about 22 mph he's looking at 10.16 and at 21.5 mph he's looking at about 10.4 seconds...

Could be so clunky out of the blocks that he's trying to catch sub 11.

Apparently he has the goal of the Olympics.

So that says to me he's training.

Maybe he surprises to the upside here.

Not so sure about that. Usain Bolt was making at least $20 million a year and his net worth is like +$100m. Obviously, Metcalf won't have that level of success.
