Reduced attendance could give big games the atmosphere of a spring scrimmage.

Honestly this break from sports has been the best thing that’s happened. I don’t think I want any of these sports to come back. It really gives nothing back to a person but it definitely sucks away a persons time that could be spent doing more life fulfilling things

If they were smart they would bring back WNBA first for 3 weeks or so and see how it goes. I think they're going to have a pretty tough time with most mainstream sports.

Let's see. The virus burns through. By September there will be practically zero deaths. You are pretty smart. 6 weeks ago spain and Italy had 900 people dying a day. Today Spain was at 50 or so. I'm sure you aren't that brainwashed by this thing.

Can't compare. Different situation . Different time. Media working overtime to keep people scared. Remember when they said surfaces are spreading? Now CDC says that's not really a concern. People were wiping grocery like crazy people.

So, you figure the reason things are slowing down in Spain, Italy, etc. is because everyone is infected now? So they can start putting 50,000 people in stadiums again and nothing much will happen?

The virus will burn through in a few months? Is that it? I'm sorry to tell you this but this is pure fantasy. If there is no vaccine this thing is going to be with us for a couple of years.

No it's because it burns through. Go and look at where it started, where it moved to and where it is going. I assume you aren't paying much attention to the numbers. Spain opened up 3 weeks ago. Italy already said international travel in and out starting June 3.
It's okay to have packed Lowe's and Walmarts with hundreds of people in them all over the country but no one can go to a game?

I heard this same argument earlier today from someone on TV except they were talking about churches instead of games. My answer is the same for you... millions of people survive just fine every single year without going to church even once... same with sports. I don't know many people that can survive without going to the grocery store. THIS is why grocery stores are a bigger priority.

Everyone has there own priority. I've went to the grocery stores two times in 10 weeks. I get most of food delivered.
I could care less about church.
Why is Lowe's packed? Is it a priority? To some it is.
To some people going to games is a priority. That's why they buy season tickets.
