I love the people who say if the citizens are armed they would take the shooter down faster. This guy walked through police which was armed to their teeth in an area with cameras and still killed 10 people.

And I guarantee you the moment you pull that pistol out during an active shooter situation you will either get shot by another citizen pulling out a concealed weapon or the police.

When cops arrive they dont know who the shooter is. So yes they often shoot innocent dudes trying to help

That gets tricky.. I agree.. You gotta announce you are the good guy and a civilian defending.. Don't shoot me.. Keep the gun down low also..

I think cops on scene can tell who the real shooter is hammering down an AK or AR and spraying the crowd.. If Cops are there then you don't have to take action, put your gun away..

I'd say if you are packing and the first on scene and that is the only one armed then take a shot if you have a clean view of the shooter. Or charge and shoot.. It's a tough call but you are trying to save lives...
