I hit with Norway, the French team is loaded with talent but their execution in the final third hasn't been impressive in either game, it will be interesting to see how strong the US is on the back end when they are tested.

I'm on Brazil, Australia should be desperate and if they overextend I see the back end being left open, I don't think this game should be more than a picke'em, its an important game for Brazil too since Italy has looked better than expected.

Good Call on Norway. They deserved a better fate , as did Spain. Love goals tomorrow in the Brazil / Aussie game, you may be right about backing Brazil too. It should get easier to get a handle on things as we get into 2nd and 3rd round games.

I assumed that Marta would start on the bench again today. At 33 , she is still a great leader , but not the dominant force of the past ( when healthy ). Its more a matter of style of play for me. Brazil are not a team that sits back and plays the slow , methodical passing game. Their game is based on an up tempo pace with quick one touch ball movement. Based on the defensive woes Australia showed against Italy , a team ranked below Brazil , they will concede to Brazil imo. After being upset by Italy , they need a result today in order to advance. It just smells of a goal fest imo

This tourney has been hit and miss with overs , as my record shows.
