In the NFL the owners should make some concessions, pension for players who play less than 4 years since the average NFL career is less than 4 years, and health care after players retire should be part of NFL contracts but in the NBA the players have too much power so Lebron comments are dumb. The only reason NBA TV ratings are high is because they have no competition, the Euro leagues are a joke compared to the NBA. The NBA needs to get rid of 1 and done's and its the most boring league by far right now because of Golden State - NFL TV ratings are far higher for a reason. It takes bad teams 5-6 years to be respectable because they have to draft kids, Jordan played 3 years in college, Duncan 4, teams knew what they were drafting when the took these guys.

Not that I care, the average NFL player earns more in 2 years in the NFL than most workers earn in a lifetime, its not just about how long you work its about your contribution. Players who play 3 years or more should get health care and other benefits for life.

Yes I am serious. I support public ownership of utilities and healthcare. Middlemen corporations are bilking billions living off the sweat and misery of the people while we keep paying them automatic raises and golden parachutes, our costs are mostly all legalized graft, corrupt politicians rubber stamp their corporate welfare and the scumbags do nothing but enjoy their monopolies - it is getting worse and worse and has to stop someday. We overpay and overwork for the elite profits.

Sports are big money now. Cities and States should take the teams and use the money to support the communities because those loyal communities are the groundspring of local sports allegiances. Instead like everything else, we have the corrupt politicians shelling out millions in tax breaks and outright borrowing from scumbag elite banks to pay for sporting experiences - but if the communities owned the team it would be a win win for everyone. Green Bay Packers are an example.

Yeah, Most NFL players who play 3 years or less aren't making more than several hundred grand a year after taxes, it's ridiculous to pay pension benefits to less than 40 % of your employees.
