Just to be clear, I'm not recommending Vancouver to anyone but I personally am willing to gamble on them at a huge price vs a lousy team like the Kings.

The most amazing thing about Toronto right now is that 2 of their best 4 forwards are out of the lineup, with Mathews likely to return next week and hopefully Nylander before Dec 1. This team will be even more capable of putting the puck in the net than they are now!

They were at the beginning of the season & I don't agree at all. They are one of the lower priced teams to win the Cup and a bad bet IMO.

Tonight's Leaf game featured zero penalties - the second time in 3 games Toronto played that had no penalties.

Also, I feel for over bettors, it was 6.5 and a loser. 6-0 was like rubbing salt in the wound.

Avs over looking awful. Tried getting shutout bet for Toronto late but odds spiked right when I tried. Oh well.

And I forgot I did a -105 Toronto 60 minute extra bet on my secondary account (FanDuel), so that was a nice bonus.

If I could give one piece of advice regarding betting NHL hockey it would be this:
Don't over analyze the lines that the books put out, or even line movement. NHL is an afterthought to most books and they aren't as sharp posting lines in hockey as they are in the other major US sports. Hockey is not NFL etc.

When I like a side and the line goes against me I usually bet more at the better price.

I wish it was always this easy. Hockey is the only sport I really know and I have gone on some nice 10+ in a row game winning streaks before. November has been a very good month for me betting pucks.

Just so you know - I will definitely not hit at 100% so please don't expect it.

Yeah I cringe when I read a post from someone saying "the line scared me" etc. When I read that I know that the person lacks confidence. NHL line moves never scare or intimidate me as I am already confident in my plays and don't require a line move to motivate me to bet or not bet.

Couldn't you bet $100 on -1 for each game instead of the ml and -1.5? That way you only lose $100 instead of both bets incase the team loses.

I could but I bet to win (and don't fear losing) and sometimes when a fave I really like is a low price I want to have a chance at making a bigger profit. I don't usually lay -200, so if it loses oh well.

Man, I was mad last night. I was trying to get into those two games about 6:50 my time, a little before gametime. Always hit traffic going to son's wrestling practice, so I'd look while sitting in line at lights. Kept getting network connection errors... finally got to the school, got in a Nashville -1 bet, then try Toronto -1 as well, then the betting goes off the board... and the reception at the school blows. Never got in my Toronto bet, but later in the night when checking scores, I'd THOUGHT I did, so I thought I almost broke even on NHL.

Nope!

Game is being played in the afternoon (2PM local start) as a celebration of Toronto Maple Leafs 100yr anniversary.
