After I saw your comment above from that thread, all it took was seeing Toronto's away record of 6-1 for me to place bets on both the regular ML of -145 and -1+130 line. If the game holds up, then this will be the first one that I tailed from this board this year that I would have won. Thanks.

Obviously, my decision making skill isn't very good as there are plenty of picks on here that have won and I'm just tailing the wrong ones.

Yeah I'm in Canada. I do well in hockey but don't usually post plays unless I see something that really stands out. I likely won't have any plays this strong for a while as they just don't come around as often as I would like.

Can you imagine the Patriots at NY Jets at -2.5? That was the comparison I had in my mind when the Leafs/Kings line came out.

I bet yesterday when betting opened and had no other action.

I haven't looked at the schedule yet to see when or if they play next but Minnesota would likely trounce the Kings the same way. Not that everyone with a clue doesn't know this already. Word is out as to how bad the Kings are and will be vs young fast teams.

Yes exactly, sometimes there is no need to overthink something that is simple. Plus NHL is not the NFL, I don't buy in to the "books know" logic when a line looks too good to be true.

Anyway I now have a nice balance at Pinny and shouldn't have to deposit for the rest of the NHL season. I'll play on house money.

I did bet this for $20 shits and giggles at 888sport.

$20 to return $500 USD. I included those three heavy faves in order to get 25-1 instead of 20-1.

So, are the books baiting people to take Ohio against Buffalo in tomorrow night's game with the line crossing over?

I watched both of their most recent games and I like Buffalo to win straight up. Sure, Ohio has dominated Buffalo in past years, but this year's Buffalo isn't like the past years. I don't know about Buffalos' defense since they gave up lot of points against Miami Ohio, but Buffalo's QB is quite good and they have good RB's too.

I know you weren't asking me but football is not hockey and the books aren't nearly as sharp on NHL as they are on NFL/CFB etc. because hockey is not as popular with American gamblers.

I'm Canadian and don't pay much attention to American football. I prefer hockey, then basketball, then baseball and as a last resort football.
