There are a couple of Photo's attached to the above post, but to me one is very upsetting and I've only met BigDay for 10 seconds

I think he's referring to the pic of bigday sitting up.

It is unsettling to see Bigday in that state, but on the flip side, from what we've been reading from the reports from Mindy, the pic symbolizes a message of progress. We're seeing the fight he's going through first hand

Thought BigDay actually looked healthier than I expected in that photo. Not that we can really tell but was expecting more thin and gaunt after weeks of not moving.

Sometimes I just wonder if the poor guy can catch a break!

Yesterday we had some movement and the bowel blockage is working out on its own and then began the throwing up! Come to find out after an x-ray this morning his J tube has threaded its way into a loop and may be causing the nausea. They may be going back in to try and fix it, stay tuned.

PT had him sitting up on the bed again and moved into the chair (see picture from yesterday and today). Today the speech therapist helped him cough and we heard some air flow through his vocal folds! Andy's voice/sound was really raspy as he tried to say AHHHHH, but we heard it!!! Our selfie pictures are of him smiling! He is practicing and gaining that muscle strength along with head control!

Keep those prayers coming! Due to all of the set backs they do not think we will be ready to go to a LTAC (long term acute care) facility until next week.

Good Post Shute, anything looking forward to BIGDAY's full recovery is inspirational. I'm sure the entire McBride family and all of SBR would love for the day the BIGDAY can log in and give you some points.

To double down I say hey BIGDAY, I'm going to need a drink when this is all over, you're buying.

The day we sit at a bar and drink together, even if it's water, will be a glorious day!

It's going to be a long fight, but we will see you at the watering hole BIGDAY!

This is recovery in action guys.

A very difficult and private time for the family is being shared to all of us as we have shared resources with their family as well.
