Everyone says it relaxing but it just frustrates me, a lot!! I am not used to not being good at a sport, I can hold my own at most everything cept damn golf! Rather play hoops, better workout and my aggression plays much better! If I want to do something where I can drink I go bowling, I’m a pretty good bowler and it in the ac!! LolComment -

#144I suck at golf! I tried really really hard 1 summer cause most my friends play. I got to where I could hit some decent shots at the driving range occasionally but was never able to translate that to hitting good shots on the course when I only had 1 swing! I actually putt lot better than most my friends but getting to the green was a constant struggle. Not used to not being good at a sport so got incredibly frustrated and said the fukk with this shit!!! Summers so miserable here anyways I rather not spend my free time out in miserable humidity getting aggravated cause I can’t make the stupid ball fly straight!! I stick to sports where my aggressiveness pays offComment -

#145Not at all. I got plenty of money. Also not sure where the bash is but I’m guessing east coast. I’m way up in the Seattle area, I’m not flying across the country for just a weekend.Comment -

#148Just read the thread on it, actually sounds pretty sweet. I'll be in Europe during those dates if not I'd consider going with my girlfriend. Pretty slow time of the year in terms of betting but I understand summer is the time for most to get away. Have fun for those who are going. I try to get to Vegas at least once a year but been taking other trips, will try to get down there soon.Comment -

#154theres no way in hell dawg is hitting a 48-50 degree lofted club 130 Yards. Dawg send me your GHIN number & let’s set up a match, Since you think I play from the reds
Greaser my point being my PW loft is 43.5. You want to get a gap that 3-4 degrees lofted higher.

#155Why is that hard to believe? I've hit my 52 degree gap wedge 130yds before. Doesn't mean it's the right shot. You can hood anything, lie, weather, wind all factor in. Guys are hitting 400yd + shots during the Open practice rounds...doesn't mean they are going to do it every time. Your pitching wedge loft is closer to a 9-iron. Lots of gaps in your wedge game unless you carry 5 wedges.Last edited by USCPHILLYGUY; 07-19-18, 02:33 AM.Comment -

#156If you have big gaps in clubs then just bend your wedge or sandwedge to a better degree. Any forged club can be bent to a different lie or loft. Most golf clubs should have this available.Comment -

Callaway X Forged
Mizuno MP 18 MMC

Ping iblades (Ping known for more loft)
PING’s irons are engineered to achieve higher and farther ball flight with incredible stopping power, made even better by a pleasing sound and feel.
As you can see, that's a good chunk of clubs on the 2018 Golf Digest Gold List. Your 38 degree club is like an 8.5 iron. Your PW should be closer to 45 degrees. You have a large gap between your PW (which is a 9.5 iron) at 43.5 degrees and your gap wedge. You should be dialed the fukk in with your scoring wedges. You gave Greaser the advice that his gap wedge should be 3-4 degrees more lofted than your PW. Then, you state that your gap wedge is 4.5 degrees more lofted than your wedge and you have a 5 degree gap between your gap and sand wedge.Comment -

#158What clubs do you play? The new Taylor Made 790's are getting a lot of press lately. They are known for juking their lofts a bit so players think they are hitting their irons farther. Their pitching wedge is listed at 45 degrees and their 9 iron is 40 degrees.

The #1 mistake amateur golfers make is not knowing their clubs and corresponding yardages. Difference between shooting in the 100's/90's/80's for many golfers. We're trying to get greaser on the right track here, guy. jj, meet me at the 9th green at 9:00pm, ya bald prick...and wear something nice!Comment -
