If that was my 61 year old mother, I would want some answers.

I would start by asking her why in the fukk she was running out in front of a moving police vehicle that had it's lights and sirens on.

When I was a kid, my parents taught me to not walk out in front of moving vehicles and be careful when crossing the street.
