Interesting but then again that is 1/6 and even with $100K, nobody is dropping 20% of that lifetime savings on 1 night in the club or even half that IMO

Don't believe any rumors about coins going up on Binance. They are very secretive about this since they don't want price manipulation. The only reason we know about RaiBlocks is that RaiBlocks won the poster vote.

thanks k13. Meantime does anyone know if ACH and/or Wires into Coinbase for deposit are any faster?

Coinbase was having delays on processing bank wires and not sure if ACH too in late-December, citing a backlog.

I wonder if they have cleared that up? Also if anyone has tried to withdraw out to bank...same question?

That would only be about 5 kids from your average high school classroom accumulating 100k before they are 30.

I guess in a lot of classrooms none would do that, but there would also be a lot of classrooms where a lot more than 5 do that i think. Could be in the ballpark.

Article mentions Millenials is anybody up to 37. Sure the 30+ years olds are bringing this number up...esp. the ones that haven't started buying houses or didnt start out with massive college debt.

I've stopped buying through Coinbase ever since Square Cash gave me the ability to buy BTC. Only pain with them is transferring BTC out of the app, while free, takes a few hours to transfer out. I only sell through Coinbase now with no fees on GDAX.

Okay, let's say this is true.

                                2015: 8% have $100k.

                                2018: 16% have $100k.

When you project these numbers out and it's an astronomical surge. No way.

Quick question: Binance has BCD @63USD, KuCoin @138USD and all other exchanges have it @12USD - how is that possible?

Xvg has drops from “fake news” every week. Like many others the people running the show have no idea how to handle any sort of PR and are a mess. I think they’ll probably eventually make a run, but in last month I’ve decided to get out of these shitshow coins like trx and xvg and not worry if they’re going to boom, plenty of coins will boom without the constant drama. Good luck though.

Not a stretch if you consider the majority of white collar millennial have a 401k with a company match. Also with the gains from the stock markets the last year or so its not too hard to do if you can manage to save around 7-8k a year into your 401k and ira.

I've been looking at this WaterTech ICO for some reason. I'm investing very lightly in a couple right now but I'm a real sucker for water based companies as a lot of VERY smart investors have been in for a while now and water is obviously going to be a problem soon. Somebody want to talk me out of this?

I'm investing very lightly in a couple right now but I'm a real sucker for water based companies as a lot of VERY smart investors have been in for a while now and water is obviously going to be a problem soon. Somebody want to talk me out of this?

Is there an actual use to the "coin", or are they merely trying to skirt SEC regulations in selling equity by selling a "coin" instead of shares? Just glancing, it looks like they're selling a purification product, so why aren't they seeking venture/angel investment and what problem does integrating block chain technology solve that other solutions wouldn't (besides making it an ICO instead of a traditional business project)?

Robinhood announced today it is introducing fee-free crypto currency trading soon.

Only BTC and ETH will be available for trading when that rolls out to waves of users starting in California, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, and New Hampshire in February, though more will be added.
Heard about this today as well. Looks like this is only going to be for small amounts but still this is exactly what I was looking for in another thread.

A couple to add to your radar:

Edgeless (EDG) - Ethereum based online casino. Play poker, dice, black jack, sports betting with the EDG token. No house edge, hence "edgeless". Currently #164 at coinmarketcap.com. Currently going for $1.52 @ Bittrex, hitBTC, others...

iExec RLC (RLC) - cloud/blockchain-based processing. A lot of positive vibes out there because this coin actually does something. Currently #106 at coinmarketcap.com. Currently going for $2.86 at Binance, Bittrex, others.
