it's been up and down today, saw it as high as like 4.95 when I woke up, now back down to mid 4's but still going strong considering it was at 2.79 on like Sunday/Monday. Hope this one climbs in the coming months like it is looking like

Yep, totally sucks. I was lucky and withdrew from nicehash on Monday. Still lost about 2 day's mining profits though. About $1,000.

There's tons of options for GPU rigs. We switched a bunch of ours to mining Monacoin today. The return is around $25 a day for a 3 card 1080TI rig. I don't think that return will last long though. Were using this pool: https://monacoin.miningpoolhub.com
68 million is a fukkload of money. Imagine all the guys that had 3 months of mining profits in there. Sucks for nicehash too. They must be sick.

Out of the two major ways of owning Bitcoin, trading and mining on a website and keeping your coins on your PC wallet in cold storage. It's safer to keep it in cold storage as with what happened with Nicehash.

Also, another negative of Bitcoin is the high transaction fees, some companies don't want to use it for their currency. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2017/...nd-volatility/ The next best Crypocurrency will have lowest transaction fees. I wonder which one it could be, we will bet on it.

Yep, My brother and I started a crypto mining company in June. We mine just about every crypto we can. It's been fun and with the way crypto is going the money is good too.

You just have to empty your mining pool wallet regularly. Or just mine straight to a wallet that you control.
The $1,000 we lost actually wasn't as bad as having to change the software on all our rigs. Loading new software onto 100+ different mining rigs f'n sucks.

This means that anyone who wants to order a product from Bitmain must use BCH. The next time Bitmain comes out with a product that is hot and all the miners want it watch for the BCH price to skyrocket.
