Was tossed from 3 big banks when I was scalping BTC between exchanges and even Coinbase. Took the advice off this forum to open a credit union account. Turns out they are cheaper on wires and everything else. Find a small to mid size CU. If they ask about the activity tell them you trade BTC. The BkofAma's and large banks don't want any part of BTC business.

Last time I deposited a cheque for 2500 and the teller just said "this is from work right" so I just said yeah sure

Have to deposit another cheque for 2000 and if they ask was just going to say I sold some things online?

I've had problems, but usually with sending money. Had a lady tell me that the destination city wasn't in the system. It was the fukkin capital of the fukkin country, and I had sent money there before at the same shop. Fukkin bitch. Had another lady make me write my name and social security number into a log book for sending it out of country. Said it was required by anti-terrorism laws.

thats brutal. Actually I use TD Ameritrade which is part of TD Bank.
it's been many years since I deposited any check face to face.

this whole concept of these people demanding to know where your check
came from is anti-American. never happened to me ever.

Agree lady said it is her business where it came from, and that it wasn't gonna clear and that they will close my account because I'm breaking the trust with the bank.like I give a shit I have no problem taking my money elsewhere.
It's going to be hilarious when it clears.

Always go right to my atm with my checks never had a prob at pnc.They give me 100 as soon as I put it in the atm then they rest of the check when it clears usually 1 day sometimes a little longer but not much.Always go to the atm.
